The Blu-ray version of the complete Star Wars saga will be released September 27, according to a listing on Amazon.

The Blu-ray set is available for pre-order now. It was first announced at this year's CES, at which point Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment said it would be available in September.
The nine-disc complete saga is available for pre-order now for $89.99, down from the originally announced $139.99. Fans can also buy the three-disc original trilogy or three-disc prequel triology separately for $44.99 each, down from $69.99.
Fox said that the Star Wars complete saga set features three additional discs with 30 hours of special features like deleted and alternate scenes that have never been seen before.
Bill Carr, Amazon's vice president of music and video, said earlier this month that the Star Wars franchise has been "one of the most anticipated Blu-ray releases by Amazon's customers. We think that Star Wars will be incredibly popular with our customers and we expect pre-orders to be strong."

Bought this today. It was minimalist film, but the picture quality on it was great. No real grain, all while the Ryan Reynolds gave a great performance.

When I was little used to come home and watch tapes until my parents got back from work. The four videos we had in our old shitty townhouse were Ghostbusters, Return of the Jedi (I didn't know there were more Star Wars movies at the time), Back to the Future, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. So far I only have Ghostbusters but I want the rest.

lol funny thing is, Mambaa got me into blu rays.

9 months later, I got 220 blu rays.

Blu rays aren't that expensive if you know where (and when) to look. You can get $20 blu rays on ebay for $4.99
if you're patient enough.

if you ever buy from the amazon, almost always buy from co.uk

it'll save you hundreds (or thousands) in the longrun. Just make sure the BD is region A (or all regions).

Also bought this movie on blu ray. WOW. The transfer was awesome, the movie was great, and the AQ/PQ is up there with movies like Gladiator (the new one, re-done) and I Am Legend. Definitely for BD.
