A key family member of Wheel's is dealing with a potentially serious health matter and he wants/needs to be available to help out in any way he can. So rather than potentially having to change things at the last minute with the group outing, Wheels and I decided it best to hold off on going through with the evening until his family health concerns subside, which will hopefully be in time to reschedule things for sometime next month.

I know that in talking with Wheels he is really looking forward to our group outing and he's sorry this has delayed that from happening.

From Wheels himself, "I wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and a very Merry Christmas and I'm anxious to see everyone after the first of the New Year!"

Total bummer. Really hope things go well for his family. Priorities are family first.

Wish Wheels well from all of us. Obviously his family stuff is more important than meeting us.

Not getting the car until either April or March. They don't have another Volvo like the one I want anywhere in the country so they have to special order it from the factory.

That reminds me of a joke.

So, this guy gets picked up on the streets of downtown Portland for appearing nude. The officer asks him what he's doing downtown in the nude.
The man responds "Well, I went to a party. After we all had a few drinks the Hostess turns off the lights and says 'Okay everybody, take off your clothes and go to town.' So, I must be the first one here."
