The Bring Ersan Iliyasova to Portland thread...

tonight, he played 35 minutes in a 2-ot game (coming 3rd of the bench), scored 3-5 from the field (1-1 for 3) 5-6 from the ft line, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished 2 assists. He was also very active and effective in the closing moments of the game (which I followed in PBP).

I think we should bring him to Portland if it doesn't cost us more than Webster/Cunningham.

Could be a useful 3/4 combo forward. How is his lateral quickness and D? Does he play exclusively at PF for the Bucks?

I don't think he's attainable for what we would be willing to give up (I'm sure they'd ask for Batum).

So a guy has a good game, now we need him on our team? Darko had a great game too a couple of nights ago. So did Jordan Hill.

haha Threads like these are kinda funny Ilyasova is a good rotation player and would be a good player to have as your back-up 4 but you guys have Juwan Howard and Cunningham....

OK, so Not Webster/Cunningham, Webster/Joel - it won't happen this year anyway...
It doesn't work money-wise, I checked on realgm, but something like Martel and Joel (2) for Ersan Ilyasova and Dan Gadzuric (1+filler) could be nessecary when you consider Camby staying, Joel and Greg coming back and Ersan being better than Martel.
