These incredible structures all have a story to tell and have been built to honor a culture and represent a time and place that is meaningful to its residents. Let’s take a road trip across America as we explore the coolest buildings in all 50 states.

My friend documented the destruction of "Little Chigago" in South Side Sioux City Iowa...a beautiful city at the time...they demolished all the old opera houses, cobblestone streets, and statues and amazing italian masonry that was originally built by Al Capone as his favorite hangout to escape the heat in Chicago...St Vincent's hospital was above it on a hill made from an old French castle...not sure if it survived either...sad to see Little Chicago become malls and steel and glass modern buildings. Last time I was there I used to go drink scotch at an Italian pub with nothing but Frank Sinatra albums on the jukebox...it's probably gone now too. At least we have photographs of some of these places
