Did you buy anything?I actually went into a regular retail store in Hermosa Beach and shopped around today. Probably 20% of the people out had masks on.

Might be a smart move if experts are right and this virus ramps up in the fall & winter. Many say it's still just beginning.Yeah, a mask lol (I am collecting a bunch of them)
Not new in my neighborhood. It began decades ago when I lived in Aloha and it's been in place in Lake Oswego since I moved back here five years ago.Curbside pickup is going going to be the new normal. There are going to be apps coming where you will be able to try clothes on virtually.
I'm in Beaverton. I'm just saying Curb side pick up might be more of the new normal now as a lot more people will be doing online shopping. Not new in my neighborhood. It began decades ago when I lived in Aloha and it's been in place in Lake Oswego since I moved back here five years ago.
Where do you live?
Going to be a lot of outsourcing and paycuts for the tech world

Victoria's Secret is closing a quarter of its stores
I've been in there. Worst buffet I've ever had.Canyonville’s Seven Feathers casino reopens with coronavirus precautions.
"Seven Feathers, which is owned by the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians, is one of Douglas County’s largest employers and most well-attended attractions. Before shutting down on March 17 due to COVID-19, Seven Feathers had about 650 employees and averaged about 1,300 customers a day.
The sudden closure led to more than 500 of those employees to be furloughed and denied those customers a place to play electronic slot machines and enjoy food and drinks.
Wednesday night, Seven Feathers brought in about 300 frequent customers and around 100 employees for a test run of the newly configured casino and hotel. When that soft opening went well, the tribal council took a vote in a Zoom teleconference meeting Thursday and decided to reopen."

I hung out in a packed bar last night. Drank and visited with friends and acquaintances. Met and shook hands with new people. Hugged a few friends I hadn’t seen in awhile. Live band randomly showed up and started playing, it was quite a time.
Fuck the new normal, I rather enjoy the old one.
JB, I enjoy the old one too, hell, everyone does, but IMO, this is not the time to play loose...not yet.
Fuck booze and the poor judgement it enables...….it's like....I don't need to wear seatbelts anymore and I can drive drunk! I don't need a condom for a one night stand …...was the band in the bar called the "suicide kings or death cab for cutie?" There was probably square dancing, line dancing and death dancing....yee ha! Careless move dude and in my view...horrible timing..it's shit like that that's going to keep folks my age from going anywhere for yearsI hung out in a packed bar last night. What’s the alternative? The virus isn’t going anywhere whether we all hide in our closets or not. Might as well let all the young fucks develop antibodies and not be carriers to give it to the old.
No clue. Maybe nobody knows. As far as I can tell nobody knows jack shit about this virus except that the only way to prevent it is to shop at Walmart, avoid nature, fresh air and sunlight at all costs and drive around in your car with a mask on.How long do the antibodies last?
Avoiding nature and fresh air are not part of the safety protocol. You should read up on New Zealand’s or Taiwan’s success with simple masks and safe distancing. We are not being smart about it here because of prime need for instant gratification. Not smart at allNo clue. Maybe nobody knows. My grandson was born at around 5 pm today and he’s healthy and well. Got pics sent and he’s a chip off the old block. River man is a proud grandpa!
