Only kidding. Market will prob tank post election in any scenario
Not likely. If the election happens without a huge problem the markets will be fine.
If it becomes a shitshow it will continue to drop until it is decided.
I am buying right now. Tech stocks and renewable energy are going to continue to grow. The other possibility is a number of electric vehicle makers and parts manufacturing that are starting to evolve.
Even if your boy wins he will have to get by the virus.

SHORT OIL FUTURES

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/DUG?p=DUG&.tsrc=fin-srch

about the only time I've bought low and sold high in my life. I bought in mid Feb and sold in mid March. Did it mostly in my Roth IRA so no tax. Really a departure from my buy-high/sell-low M.O.....the stock market is like repeatedly slamming my head with a solid-core door

I stuck my toes back in the water in late August at 42.50. Only 300 shares though, not a thousand like last time. Wish I'd bought more. Now I'm a little scared to go deeper into it

Cop some AAPL.

Gonna announce Apple Silicon MacBooks on the 10th.

Invest in Chinese electric cars (NIO) and military contractors. Short big oil. :Sly:

The Pizza Hut by my house went out of business

I hope you can find another food source before winter! We'd hate to see you turn to cannibalism.

"U.S. pharmaceutical giant
Pfizer and German biotech firm BioNTech announced Monday their coronavirus vaccine was more than 90% effective in preventing Covid-19 among those without evidence of prior infection, hailing the development as “a great day for science and humanity.”

“I think we can see light at the end of the tunnel,” Pfizer Chairman and CEO Dr. Albert Bourla told CNBC’s Meg Tirell on “Squawk Box.”

Too late for some who regularly eat their girlfriends. I assume that includes you. Hell, you and Mickey will eat anything.

markets going crazy this morning

I had about 30K in a bear market ETF (DUG), but I sold it Friday for a little profit when it looked like Biden had won. It's down 28% this morning. I'm in shock that I didn't engage in my usual buy-high/sell-low transaction. I can afford new tires for my F350 now; plus a fifth of a smooth single malt scotch. I've tried bragging up my foresight to my wife but she keeps pointing at the times I was wrong. That's not nice

Doing well with electric car companies NOT NAMED TESLA.

Nio is chinese based, but I have a feeling they will come to America under a Biden admin. Fisker has been around for a while, they are a more niche company. Recently moved to Manhattan Beach to set up their main office.

I actually used Walmart for the first time to buy stuff. Got a coffee maker made by Instant Pot that does both Keurig Kcups and Nespresso pods. I heard they are really making a push to get a bigger online presence compete with Amazon.

As Black Friday is spread out over the whole month now, they will probably try to get loss leaders to entice customers to start using the App. Its installed on my phone, I actually got a doorbuster yesterday but cancelled teh order ($150 lenovo laptop, which was half off).

As more people buy their gifts online they could get a lot of growth.
