Corona virus finally effected my job. I am going to make out like a bandit though. I was going to take early retirement on January 15th anyway, but now I'm going to be on administrative leave until January 30th starting in two weeks. Then I get 20 weeks of severance pay and reduced cobra till I go on Medicare June 1st. Talk about fortunate timing.

Congrats! I feel lucky that I retired two years ago....I love that that part of my life is in the past now. My wife is taking a couple years off as well and we're enjoying our home...moved 7 big trees today and have another half dozen to move tomorrow....

Basically what I think is going to happen.

2-3 month lockdown (or until the Vaccine is distributed to a % of the population) when Biden takes over with a $2k a month stipend. No one allowed out except absolutely essential workers.

I wouldn’t mind an extra 2k a month. They’d deem us essential. Been delivering a shit ton of the new in home testing kits that are next day aired and we deliver medication and lots of it on a daily basis as well as insulin to diabetics.

No traffic and bankrolling extra money on top of it. I hope they lockdown the fuck outta us.
