I watch a bit of cricket, my favourite form of the game being T20. Cricket is not the most entertaining sport in the world by any means, but I'd take it any day over something like NFL. If you ever get the chance to watch cricket live I'd recommend it, it's so much better than on TV. I saw India vs. Australia at the MCG which was great, even better when Australia lost

.
The current South African tour of Australia has been good, they're both elite sides and a lot of games have been going down to the wire.
Oh and Shape,
There's three major forms of the game.
Test Cricket: Played over five (five!) days. Teams get two innings (turns at batting) each. Most runs (score) win. Quite a bit of strategy involved.
One Day Cricket. Often called an ODI (one day international). Played over one day. 50 overs each. 6 bowls an over, so 300 bowls (baseball equivalent of pitches) total for each team (not including extras where the bowler does a delivery that wasn't acceptable and must be repeated).
T20. Called Twenty Twenty. Teams get 20 overs each. It's a new form of the game, and a with the limited overs the batters go out and go nuts. As a result, it appeals to a wider audience.
So given how long test cricket is, the batters play very conservatively. They don't take any risks unless they have to, and really just try not to go out.
In ODI's the batsmen look for runs more, but the important part is they have batsmen spare (preferably five or more, you are allowed 10 batsmen out total) at around the 40th over. From there, the batsmen are only looking for runs and take lots of risks. If all your batsmen are out before your overs are up, those are overs you don't get to use. And that can be crucial.
In Twenty 20, the batsmen try to get many runs in very limited overs. So there's a lot of action, and your more likely to see something like this
