Rough loss but holy hell, I have never seen a player with a will to win like Lillard. We have a enough threads focusing on the problems with the team. But to just sit back and reflect on what we saw tonight. My god that was amazing. We seen it before from him but damn, that was incredible.

Thanks Dame! For what you bring to this team, this franchise, this city, this state, and to all basketball lovers worldwide. You deserve championship rings but if you never get them at least know you have our love and respect.

Rip City!

bro he's not fucking dead and this series ain't over. this eulogizing can wait

I appreciate Dame every day. A damn good role model off the floor that is as clutch as he is on it.

We may never have another player like Dame on our team. Even if he never wins a championship, he is the greatest blazer of all time.

yeah, I resisted the notion that Dame was the greatest Blazer ever till that historic run he had last season. Since then, his games have just been building on that legacy

Dame's play in the 4th Q and the 2 OT were arguably the most outstanding NBA performance that I have known, and perhaps the greatest of all time!

When Dame is shooting swish3s with 70% success rate, it makes sense to have him keep shooting!

I think Dame is a basketball god. Unless we can pull off some slick moves and get him some rings, I don't think he'll ever be appreciated the way he should be.

I think he's better than Zeke, AI or anyone pre80s (Pistol Pete, Cousy, etc.) as the best small guard to ever play the game.

He's a beast. His passing is underrated. His range is unparalleled (I don't want to hear about Steph because Steph has to lean in once he's past thirty feet and for Dame they're all just pull ups). He's the man, and he has the best attitude of an NBA superstar, ever. We're really lucky to have him and I really hope we make the moves that get him rings here because he deserves them and the recognition that will come with them.

Realistically how much time do we have left where Dame is at this level? 2-3 years?

Probably. Doesn't really matter if it's more than that. Another star player will never come to Portland to join him. Ever. Dame will always have to play with a bunch of inconsistent role players, he will always try to carry them, and he won't be able to.

It's a sad and inevitable future

What stars are likely to be moved after this playoff? Maybe Butler? Maybe Paul George?

Well, I mean really it would need to be a trade. I'm not sure if we have the horses to convince Miami or LAC to trade us either of those two stars.

Maybe Butler. Do we want him? Another guy who takes a shit in the playoffs

butler was going toe to toe with lebron just 10 months ago in the finals. why would miami give him up for CJ, especially when they already have oladipo.

Didn't they get swept
