That's just the nature of superhero/comic movies though. The villains will always outshine the hero, simply because the hero has to play the straightman while there's no limit to how interesting you can make a villain. One of the reasons why I've always been so interested in Batman is because his villains are friggin' awesome.

huevon, I think a lot of the issues you have with the movie would be resolved if they made that third movie centered around Two Face. That's my opinion at least. Its similar to the way that this movie made me appreciate Batman Begins that much more.

for everyone who complained about the plot, you must not have seen the batman cartoons which are the truest and best depictions of any batman segment ever. Two-face did not have a slow spiral towards insanity, he became who he was after the accident. Characters in comic books are born, not created over time. Though the Joker character was not exactly the truest depiction of of the character, Ledger played it the best by far. As for the boat seen, i loved it. It made perfect sense. That everyone including the inmates followed the symbol of batman; virtue, honor etc, and not what the joker stood for. The bigger, deeper goal of Batman/Bruce Wayne, was to become a symbol of virtue and to influence the city in a positive way. Not just to fight crime. The plot of the movie was perfect and would have been very very difficult for someone else to top.

Well, I just didn't think it translated well on film.

After the hospital scene I was getting a little more restless. I found earlier parts of the movie quite entertaining though.

I kinda agree, but you have to take it with a grain of salt because its pretty much the truest story of Batman that i have seen.
