I feel the "Redneck" has been given a bad name. People think that Rednecks are the ones who are racist, live in broken down trailers, sit on their porch and shoot squirrels for fun, and bang their cousins. Those people are white trash.Rednecks however, are polite, friendly, family oriented people who live simple lives and hunt and farm to provide for their family. All of us have a little Redneck in us.For example:Redneck: Howdy. My names Dave. While we may not live in the fanciest house, it's just enough to make us happy. It's nice to live a simple happy life, where we can all get along and live happily as a family without all of the big distractions. You are welcome to come visit anytime.White trash: Heerdee her her. Wen we be goin' teh shoot dem squirrels' down at ther pond? Hey lookee thar, a couples of black folk. Lets' go ahead an razzle em a bit.This concludes today's southern education lesson.

Im pretty sure many people who live outside the USA would think a redneck is what you said in the first sentence, because I really didn't know rednecks were polite lol ..people probley think of polite rednecks as texans or somthing. So it can't be that great if lots of people are thinking rednecks are like that when infact the ones that people talk about are ''white trash''.I learnt somthing today!
