All I'm saying is that in the 1800's they probably didn't have much tolerance for strange religions coming in and having tons of wives. I'm not saying it was okay, just giving my opinion of why they could have perceived as they did.

did i miss something? dont we all make fun of scientology? if someone started a religion tomorrow where you worshiped your own turds, would it be intolerant to make fun of it? or JOKINGLY call them "dirty turd worshipers"?

no, not even close. the "jew" thing was a convienient aside. Like most wars the real reasons were good old land and wealth. Afghanistan is just an area where the bad guys were at, I will give you that the muslim religion has off shoots that teach hate and would like nothing better than to cut your head off.
oh and tell the Korean friend of mine that it was never a "true war", just because it was deemed a police action by the UN, there still exists a state of war between northand south. Only a cease fire is in effect. history is a bitch

Germany wasn't some unified religion. It was maybe 1/2 Catholic and 1/2 Protestant. Hitler went about his deeds for the good of the Nation and the Aryan Race. I don't see where you think religion entered the picture.

Hitler may have rarely talked about religion, but there is nothing I've seen that suggests Hitler was "anointed by God" to be leader of Germany (much like the kings of England/France/etc. were).

If anything, Hitler himself was something of a messianic figure.
