Anyone besides me expecting this?Should be a nice album. Great production. Appearences by: Nas, Fat Joe, Xzibit, Kanye West Producing and Rapping, Snoop, Mary J Blige.Production by: Cool and Dre, Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Timbaland, Scott Storch, Kanye West, Will.I.Am, Swizz Beats, Jonathan Rotem, and others.Drops on November 14. Personally, I can't wait.I know some of you will reply saying Game is garbage or fake, well that's nice this topic is to discuss the album and what not.

Re: The Doctor's Advocate

Yup I can't wait for this to drop. About the cover though...it looks just like The Documentary album cover. I know he's trying to be like Nas with the same type of cover on his albums but this just doesn't work for him. Anyway yeah this album is going to be dope, I can't wait.

Re: The Doctor's Advocate

I doubt he did it because Nas did it. The reason they look alike is because he wanted to represent the way he as an artist hasn't changed but if you look close the rims in the documentary cover are 15" gold daytons. Difference? Yes, the ones on the Doctor's Advocate are 26" platinum daytons. Representing his growth as an artist.

He said that he wanted to show people how he had grown and become a better artist and that this was the way he had planned all along.

Hell, more things point to him being fake and a studio gangster than him being real. But again... it's all opinion.

My friend gave me a burnt copy of this album. I don't like it... There are only certain songs worth listening to. You'd also expect Game to spit about new topics, but nope. He's still rapping about the same sh*t he rapped about in his last album.

I know he's his "mentor" or whatever, but damn you don't have to mention him every 30 seconds!

Re: The Doctor's Advocate

Yeah, it got annoying. Game is overly obsessed with Dr. Dre, Eazy-E &... well, basically, all the old members of the NWA.

Re: The Doctor's Advocate

Exactly... he just tries to emulate their flow. He has no identity of his own, in my opinion... he even admitted that he's just trying to copy their flows and that's it.He makes pretty good music, but it has no substance.

Re: The Doctor's Advocate

I don't see who he flows like from NWA. I'll give you the fact that he drops a lot of names and he's very appreciative to Dre but he doesn't flow like Cube, Dre, or Eazy so who then? MC Ren? Nope. And when did he say "I'm just trying to copy their flows and thats it"?

For the amount of big names he had on his album, it should have been much, much better. He is an average lyricist at best, and the whole the album is just disappointing to me (save a few tracks). Definitely did not live up to the hype... he is lucky he improved his flow (although I still think he's trying too much to emulate NWA and not develop his own identity) because he is still talking about the same old sh*t (his almost gay love for Dr. Dre, name-dropping, etc.)... his songs have no substance in my opinion.

Re: The Doctor's Advocate

I'm a big fan of The Game, but tons of reviews have said that he's rapping about the same thing. I'm buying the album but I know I should lower the hype I've had for it or I'll be utterly dissapointed. However, he's become one hell of a rapper. All he needs to do is deepen his flow and rap about different things and get off Dre's cock.

Re: The Doctor's Advocate

Game is a good rapper though he rap's about crap and gives shout outs to much so I am not buying his new album after iv'e already listined to some songs of the the doctors advocate.

Nothing but a bunch of dancers. Of course there are some exceptions...T.I., Ludacris, Scarface..etc.I'm from the south and I'm ashamed to be part of the weakest map in hip-hop. The south might be taking over...the radio but radio music is 95% horrible. Westside walk it outEastside walk itout...C'MON man!
