Perhaps not a great name for the event since @e_blazer is still alive. But he suggested the barbecue... it's not on the 4th, it's on the 24th. Not because that is my bday, although it is, but simply the first day everyone is free.

There is still one more peaches and cream shortcake than guests ... e_blazer?

It certainly did not occur to me that anyone would seriously think e_blazer is dead!

Come to think of it, every meal is a memorial in a sense. Except water and salt, everything we eat was once part of a living plant, animal, or fungus or derived from them. Well, not Hostess Twinkies but I don't serve them.

I would stay away from this 'barbecue' if I were you VG. If we get an announcement about a 'secret dish that will be prepared and served the day of the barbecue' and then don't hear from VG after we'll know why.
