I was there. Steve Smith was thrown to the floor by Shaq late fourth quarter with Lakers up two. Blazers stopped, expecting foul, possibly flagrant, and Smith was an excellent free throw shooter. No call, Lakers got uncontested basket for two possession lead.
 
I'll be curious to know how Trump sizes up to DeSantis in 2024. As well, as DeSantis has been such a Trump supporter. it'll be interesting to see how he separates.

Pass bill that has gotten more than 100 million vaccinated and stimulus check. Promoting infrastructure bill and family bill focused on education and childcare. Encouraging policing reform and voting rights. Improving relationship with allies. Restoring environmental and civil rights protections Trump overturned. He was a long way from my first choice but has done a pretty good job. Oh, and nominated very diverse group of judges. Trump's were over 80 percent white and more than 3/4 male.

I'm sure he's doing a great job for you. I'm not impressed.

Canned right wing response? Not to be confused with canned left wing response? When I say I'm not impressed, it's more of a reflection that I've never been much impressed with him.....ever. Trump built the foundations(s) of the vaccine roll out and he's ran with that. Cool. I'm not impressed with anything he's actually accomplished on the southern border (nearly 170k have crossed over thus far this year - most of those illegals, apparently). I fear how he's going to handle tax rates, etc. I still believe he's being "handled" by the democratic leaders as a whole, but that's a guess. I've said I'm not impressed, but that's not to say I can't be. I may continue to joke about him, but, so what. So does SNL (and many others)...as they do about every President.

This may be a true statement. But, if the majority of those votes had been "to get Biden in office" rather than "to get Trump out of office". It would have shown there was actually more support for Joe himself. For me the numbers don't matter, facts do. Joe got those votes because more people wanted Trump out of office than wanted Joe in office. Democrats should realize that if Joe doesn't fulfill his promises to people of color, they won't turn out for him or any other democrat for president in 2024.

What is interesting is the only reason Trump won was because so many voted to keep Hillary out of office, not for Trump.
