As his last act, William Barr issued regulation essentially prohibiting federal civil rights actions on behalf of people of color, women, LGBTQ community or people with disabilities, including a clause that future administration can only change with consent of Supremacist Court.

On her way out, Betsy DeVos issued new rule profibiting future administration from reducing or forgiving student loan debt.

The rules will surely be challenged in court but that takes months or years during which time rules stand.

I thought it was that she made it harder for people who got conned by con artist schools (of which I believe she's in bed with) and not regular old student loans?

As usual, Trump administration people are disgusting humans, but I don't think these will take years to overturn. I presume they'll be challenged after Biden and his appointees are in place and once a federal court rules against them, Biden's Justice Department will simply not appeal it. After all, it'll be the Justice Department that's the defendant and they get to choose whether to appeal it or not.

The Betsy DeVos rule might not stand for years depending on what the judge says.
It appears to me that the approval of Congress is necessary for such a rule.
 
Meanwhile the GOP is trying to stop the confirmation of the first Native American female cabinet member appointee in our history....
