The reason advisors are telling him not to pardon himself or his children is that if pardoned they can no longer plead the 5th amendment...I heard that from a lawyer who was interviewed about pardons. Have not fact checked it....it is also sort of an admission of guilt for him or his kids to be pardoned ...pardoned for what?
