Link? If true, Republicans made a big error in not allowing a recount, because they acted as if they had something to hide.
http://makethemaccountable.com/coverup/FollowUp.htmIn its much ballyhooed count of the undervoted Florida ballots, the media consortium that hired the respected National Opinion Research Council (NORC) to inspect some 170,000 ballots promised to prove once and for all who won Florida and thereby the 2000 presidential election. The problem was that the media consortium didn't like the results of what NORC found. And even when the consortium applied the rules each of the 67 counties said they would have used in determining the intent of the voters, the result was inescapable: Al Gore won.
The way the media consortium hid this truth was to distort the Florida Supreme Court's ruling. The media consortium didn't include in its recount a several thousand legal undervotes for Al Gore in Broward and Palm Beach counties that the Bush campaign had illegally blocked the canvassing boards in these counties from tallying. When these legal Gore votes are added to the vote totals, Gore wins under all scenarios, including in the counties where Gore had requested manual recounts.

Good Lord, I'm becoming a Birther.
Good Lord, I'm becoming a Birther.
How come Obama's Certification of Live Birth doesn't include the birthplace of his parents? Miki Booth's son just got a short form BC on March 15, 2011, and it includes his parents' birthplaces.
Trump seems to be on to something here.![]()
Any results on that site?
I already read others write about it. The results are for Gore unless you make rules to leave out various types of ballots which clearly intended to vote for Gore. Naturally, the mainstream media reported results based upon the pro-Bush assumptions without reporting the assumptions.
My point is that when Democrats question an election, we're told to be quiet because we're hurting the country's unity, being divisive, being unpatriotic, etc. It gets a couple days of articles and is then forgotten. Later the media trumps up Republican petty complaints the whole 8 years they're out of office.
It's fucked up, isn't it? First, I dismissed it, telling myself it's too crazy to be true. Then you realize the questions aren't unreasonable. After that, you wonder why these simple questions aren't being answered. I'm no conspriacy theorist, but they're trying too hard to obsfucate the issue and smear the opposition for something to NOT be there.
A conspiracy decades in the making, by people who realized that this Kenyan newborn would one day, forty plus years later, be challenging for President of the US and therefore needed his tracks covered from Day 1.
Yup, cold, sober rationality right there. I can see why you protest being lumped in with Truthers. It's very plausible.

I think he was born here
That's the most logical assumption, IMO. If not, why not just release the damn thing?
It's like you didn't even read my reply to basically this same post yesterday. I think he was born in Hawaii.
You suspect that he may not be, thus "the greatest constitutional crisis in history" rhetoric. Plus, you said before you took offense to your birtherism being compared to trutherism.
Because it moves his opponents to focus on the dumb stuff instead of the important stuff - the economy and the growing deficit. Duh.
I don't know. Do you know for sure? My point is that it's a question easily answered, so it should be.
Literally nothing is knowable, outside of mathematics. All we have is levels of sure-ity. Based on his having produced a legally recognized form of birth certificate, the announcement in local newspaper of his birth and things like that, I am quite sure he was born in Hawaii.
If you're willing to believe it's possible that fake birth announcements were created for a Kenyan newborn, how would you know that the state of Hawaii didn't create a fake birth certificate on his behalf?
It's like you didn't even read my reply to basically this same post yesterday. I think he was born in Hawaii. There is something else on it that he doesn't want to be made public.
It doesn't seem like it's kept people that oppose his policies from focusing on the economy and the growing deficit.
His proponents aren't focusing on those issues, however. Shouldn't they?
Congratulations on your lack of skepticism.
Do you believe it's unreasonable for those of us who have more questions or who are not satisifed by the information provided to request more?
Congratulations on your lack of skepticism on Trutherism.
I think those people are as irrational as those who have "more questions" about Bush's possible aiding and abetting the 9/11 tragedy. But I think it's well within your rights to believe it's possible that a shadow council carried out a cover-up on behalf of a newborn they knew was destined to challenge for the US Presidency 45 years later.
What's the harm?
There's no harm. I don't care if he releases it or doesn't. I don't think it would a bad thing, if he released it. I just think the people who disbelieve (or aren't sure) that he was born in Hawaii are a little nutty.
As I said, there's plenty of evidence that Obama was born in Hawaii. There's no real reason to believe he was born in Kenya, Indonesia or New Jersey. There's no harm in him releasing the Original Hand-Printed Birth Certificate. All of these things are true, as far as I'm concerned.

Me thinks the Dems doth protest too much![]()
