No Harden, CP3, or Griffin? You gotta be kidding me.

Needless to say, the anti-flop program hasn't been a major emphasis this season.
"Adam Silver"...LOL

Even more damning: the 28 players who were selected or named as replacements to the 2015 All-Star Game have combined for exactly one flop warning (received by Russell Westbrook) and zero dollars worth of fines.
Fuck Silver. Really. Fuck him.

Watch No. 9. There is about 10 times more contact on that flop than the one where Dame was called for a foul at the end of the Clippers game.

The ref (guess who) should have been fined for No. 5. That's how you end flopping.

Otherwise, these are all just run of the mill flops. Watch any Rockettes or Clippers game and you'll see worse.

Exactly. That top 10, isn't.

If Silver wanted to apply the rule, he could have Flop Fine Fridays. And include "all stars" in the list of those getting fined. And refs!

Yep the refs if they fall for them or simply look the other way. Maybe there should be a flop foul?

2 shots and the ball for "Flopping". That might change things when it starts to cost wins for the team?

Like Dviss likes to point out, the crappy NBA refs would actually have to be in position to make the right call. Notice how Joey Crawford was incapable of even seeing the play from his position when he called the Westbrick flop? Fine his ass for making a call he didn't see. Actually, now that I look at it, he called it before it happened. Nope, the NBA isn't crooked, and their refs aren't incompetent.

The position for the call is a problem sometimes. They can't be everywhere all the time.

Make it simple. If a player hits the floor and the whistle was blown, review the call. If a flop is determined, fine the player, give him a technical, give the opponent the ball, and shoot the ref who called the foul.

Easy peasy.

And they shouldn't call what they can't see, or call what they think is about to happen.

But they do.

You mean, use instant replay to get the call right? Novel approach.

I really like the 2 shots and the ball idea because their own team mates would be all over them for trying to flop.

I think you need to go after their playing time make a flop worth two personal fouls and it should stop. Just imagine Harden with a foul in the first quarter gets hit with a flop foul and now he's sitting the rest of the half, or someone getting a flop foul with 4 fouls in the 4th. Playing time gets the egomaniac player, most don't care much about their teammates but take away mins. (stats) and it should end pretty fast.

That would work also i am sure. The rest of the team might look down upon flopping.

I think they got some new footage last night with Bogut....
