You're right. We should make friends with them, invite them over for Sunday dinner, let them plant bombs in our large buildings, etc. Yeah, that's the ticket! We all just need to "get along" and then the terrorists will be able to destroy us much more easily.

You really don't understand how friendship works do you? :sigh:

Here is the direct quote from David Rockefeller's book "Memoirs" pg. 405

Even if he is saying what you think he's saying, so what? So he's an "internationalist".
Is there something fundamentally evil about that?

If the Rockefellers actually had the power to bring about a single world government (and if that's what they really wanted) don't you think they would have done it by now? They aren't getting more powerful as the generations go on, they are getting less powerful.

Besides, what's so scary about a world government anyway?

I don't think a one world government is a good idea. For one thing, we in the US have more freedom under our constitution than most other nations. Obliterating our constitution and joining the rest of the world, I feel would only bring us down.

The UN is a good example of the kinds of problems you'd have with a one world government. The Islamic extremists want to outlaw saying anything bad against Islam. Too many incompatible cultures. And is the purpose of creating a one world government to create a world of peace and harmony? That's a dream. These guys have no regard for human life. They bankrupt countries intentionally just so they can buy up their resources and pennies on the dollar.

Besides, you selectively ignored part of the charge he pleaded guilty to, being part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States. I know a one world government sounds fine and dandy to some, but just remember that there indeed are powerful people pushing to move America into a one world government, and bankrupting our nation may be apart of that plan.

Anyway, this is digressing from the main topic, which is 9-11. I posted that just to prove that what Aaron is saying initially is not off base, because some who are ignorant to the facts would snicker at that as being "paranoid".

Seems kind of a pessimistic point of view. The US isn't perfect. It is possible to conceive of a better government.

The UN isn't a model for any government.

Beats me. I don't know of anyone who is seriously pursuing a one world government, I only hear from those who are against it. It's a monster under the bed. Y'know, imaginary.

Islamists? Rockefellers? Both?

I suspect he was pleading guilty to "wanting to build a more integrated global political and economic structure", not being part of "a secret cabal". But I haven't read the book so I don't really know the context of that quote. Do you?

Are there? Aside from David Rockefeller, who?

The fact that Rockefeller does happen to be an "internationalist", interpret that word however you like, doesn't make the rest of that video particularly believable.

Our government could be great if the people in control actually wanted to do what is good for the people, and the world. Right now, our government sucks, but our system of government, and our constitution are the best ever devised.

I used it illustrate the kinds of problems a one world government would face. But Representatives of different nations getting together to debate and vote on issues is actually very similar to how most parliaments have worked since the days of ancient Greece.

This topic is really too big and complicated for a message board discussion. If you are really interested in this, get a copy of Dr. Carol Quigley's book Tragedy and Hope. It's one of the most intensive and in depth looks a political motivation and power of the 20th century. It was not written as a "conspiracy theory" He was was a member of the CFR, and they gave him access to all of their documents and asked him to write this book. He too, was not against a one world government, controlled by bankers, he thought it was a good thing. Bill Clinton referred to Dr. Quigley in his auto biography, about what a big influence he was on his life...so this guy isn't just some academic, he knows his shit.

Check out this segment form it.

Such stealthy underhanded tactics have always been the means to an end, including but not limited to the eradication of the sovereignty of independent nations in order to achieve their ultimate goal of establishing a one world government, transcending from the inception of The Rhodes Secret Society to The Round Table Group in Great Britain to Royal Institute for International Affairs (RIIA), and the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR). Tragedy and Hope took Dr. Quigley over twenty years of researching the coveted archives of Cecil Rhodes secret society. Dr. Quigley dedicated his career “to training undergraduates in techniques of historical analysis which will help them to free their understanding of history from the accepted categories and cognitive classifications of the society in which we live, since these, however necessary they…nevertheless do often serve as barriers which shield us from recognition of the underlying realities themselves (Tragedy and Hope: ix).”

Damn, if only there weren't a bunch of humans messing up the perfect system.

Right now, our government sucks? Was there a time when it didn't? When was that, and why was that government better than the current one?

To be honest, I'm only interested at the level of a message board discussion. It isn't going to happen in our lifetimes, so talking about it is just for fun (my opinion).

Ok. The first part seems to be a listing of secret(?) societies that have pretty obviously failed to accomplish their goals, assuming their goals are as stated. The second part says he spent a lot of time writing the book. The third part says he tries to free the minds of undergraduates via historical analysis.

What does all that add up to?

Oh, are you sure they are going to fail? Ever heard of the North American Union? Maybe they are very patient, taking small steps at a time. If they got up and announced the end of America, all the little froggies would JUMP, but if you turn up the heat really slowly, in increments. Also, people can be put under the illusion that they are in control. This last election for example, was mainly about ending the war, so we bring in Obama and the democrats, and now they're saying will be in Iraq till 2012. Round-table groups such as Bilderburg, Tri-lateral commission, CFR, and the central banks are the ones really running the country. And the guys running these groups say flat out they want one world government. They want to control everything, and take away your freedom.

I hope they do fail, but it's obvious to me that these same people are still in power and doing dirty deeds, to accomplish goals that do not have the well-being of other humans in mind. If people did suddenly realize what they were doing, they would not stand a chance, their asses would be in jail. So they still have some degree of fear over us, which is why they need to stage events to manipulate public opinion.

I think Kennedy was our last good president. He saw how the unelected establishment, the "military industrial complex" as Dwight D. Eisenhower called it, and the central banks were doing to the country, and had plans to take them out. That's why he got his head blown off.

Yep.

Nope.

The problem with that metaphor is that it doesn't work that way. You can't actually boil a frog by turning the heat up slowly. Frogs do recognize when the heat gets uncomfortable. People are even smarter than frogs.

Also, people can be put under the illusion that they are in control. This last election for example, was mainly about ending the war, so we bring in Obama and the democrats, and now they're saying will be in Iraq till 2012.

Campaign promises do frequently get broken, it's true.

Well, they aren't doing a very good job of it, I'd say. As far as I can see they've made no progress towards a world government at all. You'd think being so powerful, they'd at least have merged the US and Canada by now. I mean, what could be easier than Canada?

So are they forming a secret one-world government? What effect on my freedom does an invisible, undetectable one-world government have?

I wonder how his dad felt about that plan.

Good questions, they have their hands up the politicians asses. They staged 9-11 in order to get legislation like the Patriot act passed, which took away several of our constitutional liberties. They justified the illegal warrentless spying in the name of protecting us from the very terrorism that they stage.

It's called problem, reaction, solution. It's the way these boys operate.

The fact is, they could charge you with terrorism and send your ass a way to a secret CIA base in Estonia and have you tortured, no judge, no jury, not even a phone call. And Obama is protecting this policy.

Many citizens are outraged by this, but others don't care because it hasn't affected them yet. See, this proves how they are turning up the heat gradually, getting people used to it.

You know the investigative journalist, Greg Palast, he was taking photos and documenting of how FEMA was handling the disaster. This is a journalist who had exposed a lot of the fraud that Bush did mind you, and the Department of Homeland security brought him up on charges of TERRORISM for photographing public infastructure.

See, do something you don't like, you're a TERRORIST. This war or terrorism is bullshit, they trumped it up so they can use it do take away our freedom and treat us like slaves.

Yep.

Nope.
