OT The Home Isolation Thread- What are you doing?

My wife is stuck at home. I'm working. Saturday we took our bikes to a trailhead that has never had more than 3 cars in it when we've parked there.

There were 20 cars there. There were 20 times more people on the trail. People are tired of staying home already.

He just posted this about 1/2 hour ago;

"Its been a week full of low grade fever, strep throat, extreme exhaustion...sleeping roughly 18 hours a day.

Thank goodness breathing wise im not that bad off as im used to this feeling of windedness and heavy chest.

Hospital out east was usless..they brought me into a ICU..swabbed me..xrayed me and told me to leave.

Antibiotics for the strep throat only.

No follow up calls."



...sounds like he he's one of the lucky ones. His reference to being "winded" is because he's a real big fella...I've seen pictures of him and if I had to guess, he's like 6'5" and weighs about 350.

I hope he recovers well!
My cousin went to the emergency room struggling with much the same, is all I know, her daughter found het the next morning.

There are no flavors that can seriously be called 'better'. Better than what? Better than dog shit? I don't think so.

Anything can be better than or worse than something.

Dying in a fire seems worse than being shot in the head. Being shot in the head seems worse than drinking yourself to death.

If someone had a gun to my head and said either eat dog shit or human shit I would eat the dog shit.

Or a million dollars, yes, I would eat dog shit for a million dollars. Human shit, no way.

The natives of Fandola Province eat a variety of excrement, and in my years living amongst them I had the opportunity to sample many local delicacies. In my opinion the worst is the baboon feces in a broth made from pig urine. Dog is somewhere in the middle. Anteater poop, on the other hand, tastes like honey.

Ugggghh. I would want to eat dog shit for a million but I don't know if I could.

I don't know if I could eat human shit for a billion.

I could do a lot of EVIL stuff for a billion but that? Yuck.

I could even say I'd do it but I don't know if I could actually do it.

I'm pretty low and some would say weak and a Billion bucks is pretty damned powerful. But it would take a Billion just to get that goddamned shit out of my mind and not a penny less.
 
Well, until today, the weather has been pretty nice in Tennessee. At any rate, we've been enjoying the outdoors around the homestead...
