Are you out doing stuff though? Going to nature? Going to the beach? Going to the store?
I’m doing what I need to do to keep from going nuts. So yeah, the store, Costco etc. We walk the dog at least twice a day (we have easy access to the Xerox and Mentor Graphics campuses.....which are awesome outdoor areas). But I’m still leery about being around people for too long. Too many of them don’t wear masks and/or think social distancing is obvious bullshit. I don’t deal with morons very well......Too, I’ve been struggling with some pretty intense cardiac issues the past 8 months and don’t need a case of this crud. That said, it appears that we (Wife and I) were exposed to the ‘rona in late February or early March. We think we even had some of the symptoms but it was so early in the event no testing was being done. I have a doctor’s checkup the end of next week and will ask to be tested. If I’ve already had the virus it would make me rest a little easier knowing I had it and was able to deal with it without a problem....

You still need to be very careful even if you have already had the virus.

Hmm...sounds like you live very close to my mother-in-law's place in Wilsonville.

What, so, you've given up the titty bars?
Amazingly, I've been able to withstand it so far.
Of course being true to my wife ever since we started going steady over 40 years ago may have had something to do with it.

Probably. There’s 3 neighborhoods along the backside of both campuses and I live in the middle one. If she walks a dog then I’ve probably at least seen her.

Yep. Sounds like you're neighbors. Undoubtedly you've seen her walking her little terrier.

A lazy, hazy Tennessee morn.....

I've been playing my guitar more lately too. Definitely more towards the beginner stage than you or obviously anyone you mentioned, but it's been a good way to pass the time all cooped up. Not quite back to where I was a few years back when I lived with a friend that had actual gigs and was teaching me stuff, but little by little.

Do you hire out for bar mitzvahs?

You need some trees, shrubbery, flowers, hanging baskets with either ferns or fuchsia, roses and/or veggie garden. Your yard is beautifully large but boring.

It's a'ight. Not everything is in bloom as of yet....

very nice....you have more than enough tree's in the back 40. I'll be honest i've had houses with many trees and they are a pain in the rear to maintain properly. The place I have now the trees are in the wetland behind and side of house. We have a couple smaller type dog woods and a numerous types of japanese lace leafs, some in pots some not. My brother owns an exotic tree nursery and ships all over the world, he supplies all the trees at Disney and many movie sets.
He's had several movie stars fly out (B Pitt & C Diaz) to select for their homes. There is huge money in exporting and importing exotic trees.

Actually, we don't own that "back 40". It's owned by the HOA. They mow it every week, though. It's where I throw frisbee with my dog. Pretty nice, actually. There's also a little river just the other side of that stretch of trees. Also, a train, which goes by once a day. No whistles, though, thank goodness. It's like living in the country here, while also enjoying all the benefits of an HOA community (clubhouse, great pool, tennis, basketball, etc.).

Last year while going through medical issues that are now behind me, I found Qi gong. It is a form of moving meditation. I find it perfectly made for someone with autism, as it relaxes the sympathetic nervous system to help calm you. It is also as easy to do as walking, maybe easier.

After 8 1/2 months I am losing weight, nearly skinny again. I breathe better than I have in ages and I don't need my anxiety medication anymore. (Shhh, don't tell my doctor. They wouldn't like me not taking meds.)

I just thought I would post this as I know we are all going through a lot right now, and maybe this might help others here as well.

Take it easy, Road Ratt

Here is a video, in case you want to check it out for yourself.
