Time to buy an upright freezer for the garage.
We had a relatively new freezer in our garage that had a defective frost free feature. My wife had to chip away ice every time she needed something in that freezer. I went to Home Depot and got the best frost free freezer that goes down to 20 below and it has been working for a year now beautifully. Finally got the freezer that actually works. The sales person at Home Depot was spot on.

Obviously this is grossly sentimental BUT I've learned so much about my kids, it's been incredible. And they have done so well with everything. I might be an asshole at times in here, but I really love my children.

That being said, I've been drinking a lot too. haha. Like a lot. And running. And writing. And starting my business back up and doing some construction for my aging parents...

This has been a truly awful and truly spectacular year thus far.

Propagandist, almost the same constructive things here with me, also.
I've been lounging on the couch watching TV while in my boxer shorts, drinking a lot of cheap beer and chain smoking unfiltered cigarettes. Occasionally I sit on the front porch drinking my cheap beer and chain smoking while sitting in a rocking chair and giving the finger to school children passing by the house.
What constructive projects have others got going?

Great perspective!
I miss my running days, did it for 45 years. Eat to run, run to eat.
Nice post!

Our album sold ~150 copies so far; we’re working on the next one. Hope to have it out in November. Got ten songs written and six demos done so far this month.
You may want to consider getting a translator to advertise it in Japan and Korea .....or put a Mandarin ad out....it's a huge market ....hook up with a youtuber that has that audience and do an interview...network a bit outside the local markets...I personally think your music would connect in that market really well

thank you! A good chunk of our sales (~40 copies) are to Japan through our label’s distribution channels.

Ouch. Tell them to keep the drugs and cute nurses coming.

This would fit in the Foodie thread, as well. Anyway, a great Tennessee evening to smoke chicken wings.....

Damn! Good luck to you man. On a side note, will they let you keep the stone. Maybe polish it up and auction it off on here for charity?

You do realize that in order to get the stone out intact it has to pass through his nether regions, right? If you want to bid on it to make a ring out of or something, be my guest.

Maybe use it as one of those boujee reusable ice cubes.

I've passed four stones and each one was all on my own. I only looked at one but it looked like a multibarbed fish hook. All four hurt like hell. One time I spent the night in a bathtub filled with hot water. That one took all night. I moaned the whole night undoubtedly waking up the family below me in my apartment building and I had to go to work the next day. The first one was so bad that on route to the emergency room I made my wife stop by a ditch so I could lean out the door and heave. Another one I passed while driving from a visit in Portland to see my wife back to Seattle and my job. The last one I passed while sitting in the back row of a night class I was taking. I sat far enough back that people couldn't hear my moaning and whimpering.

All done was able to blast two, need to have s stent for two weeks. Thats a pisser! Ouch
PProv a great hospital!

That actually might be fun!

Did you name them?

My doc told me the reason a person doesn't pass stones is they are to sexually active. Oh well, sacrifices in all things if its worth it.
