The Iraqi War

As crazy as it sounds, it is best for both sides (Iraq, and the US) to leave ASAP. All of the voilence has spawned only as a result of the US invasion. Everyone is in agreement that the US should leave. Let us abondan this huge mistake we made, and we can live with this big scar in the middle east thanks to the US. This war is for no cause - it's only purpose is to suck more money out of our people through taxes. Enough. We don't need it, and neither do they.

actually leaving Iraq would do more damage in the long run than staying there. leaving Iraq now would most likely mean that the US and the rest of the world, would have to go back there, and this time not fighting some third rate regime, but a Nuclear Superpower in Iran. because Iran has been waiting years to seek vengence on Iraq for what happened in the 80s, and with Iraq being nothing but a dust hole run by phsycopaths and morons Iran could invade with ease. Staying the current corse in Iraq however wont get it done either, the US needs to change stratigy over there. the US needs to find strong leaders for Iraq, and help return some form of normalcy to the Iraqi people.

It?s a horrible situation. Staying is insane and won?t help. But leaving is just as insane and won?t work either. US forces in Iraq exacerbate the situation. We have too much negative baggage with the Iraqis. An international contingent of troops may be easier to tolerate for the Iraqi people. We need to go the UN, and in front of the world apologize and ask for help. That will never happen with this administration.

no letting the UN in there would just make it worse. the UN is more incompitant than 100 George Bush's. Also, the primary source for troops for the UN is the US, Britain and France. the US and Britain are all ready there, and France won't send troops they've made that clear. so who else would send troops?

Maybe not the UN. But someone. My point is we can't stay. We're part of the problem.

we aren't part, we are the problem. but the fact remains no one, other than tyrants and terrorist, will go into Iraq to replace the US. the best corse of action is expediate the process of handing over Iraq to the Iraqi government, than with drawing.

Hahaha, asking the UN for help. That's like asking your 5 year old daughter to file your taxes. No one can or will help us there.
