That's not necessarily how things work. More often than not kids with differences are outcast. I mean Jesus, it's been what, Maybe a decade since they stopped shoving those kids in a special education classroom away from everyone else?
Nobody that did that called those kids weird. That was something completely different.

However, I wish they'd shove Trump in a special education room away from everyone else.

How do you feel about "white men for Harris"? They have their little zoom call Maoist struggle sessions.

I think we need to start a national service where such "men" can turn in their little bb testicles. We know these "men" probably wan to go trans anyway.

You should probably report them to libs of tiktok so some fellow traveler of yours can call in a bomb threat

Weird didn't bother me. I read lots of books, I was a leftist and avowed atheist in conservative community, refused to laugh at racist "jokes", wouldn't do things that bored me no matter how "in" they were and proclaimed I would never marry or have children. Future childless cat lady! I was weird in that I didn't fit in.

I was never creepy weird.
Governor Walz said when he talks to people in the state about their concerns no one ever says ban Animal Farm. So it's weird that some people consider banning Animal Farm a priority. It's some people obsess over what bathroom another person uses
Lara Trump compared Vice president Harris to a garbage bag. She also posted a video of herself drinking wine while her child is crying. Others point out it's weird a mother would guzzle wine ignoring a crying child.
Trump's nephew Fred has a son with serious mental disabilities. Trump didn't want to help with his specialized care, saying why not just let him die. It's weird a person would say that about a family member.

Not surprised to see a fox news take parroted here. Never an original thought, just the same stupid talking points. Baaaa

Kamala is now saying she's good on border control and Trump is terrible at it. This breaks my brain, how comfortable they feel with such gaslighting.

This issue is really one that woke me up to the bipartisan controlled demolition of our freedoms. It’s why I won’t be voting for any of these creatures.
It’s true that democrats created and exacerbated this border problem, but act 2 of the play will be Republicans “solution” to the problem. That solution will be Digital ID and digital currency. Basically unmitigated big tech invasion of privacy ushered in by JD Vances homies at Palantir and it’s various shell companies. At this point the finger pointing about the border will subside and the solution will be presented with bipartisan agreement and praise.
The solution was always the end goal; the problems were simply created as a means to arrive there.
Take this formula and apply it to nearly every ‘crisis’ we’ve been handed and the empire begins to make sense.

C'mon, play nice. I spent an entire week last September, crisscrossing the state of Wyoming, up, down and sideways. Just to see what it was all about (having previously seen only pieces of the state that didn't seem to fit together). The southern quarter of Wyoming is most definitely an acquired taste (and boy howdy) but the rest of the state is absolutely awesome. Geology and history on steroids. And a shockingly good microbrew culture throughout the state (though they proudly drink only the lite, corporate swill in the southern end of the state). And the people in general were very, very cool. When they found out where I was from, they would ask if it was as bad as the media made it out to be. I would respond by asking if Wyoming was as bad as the media made it out to be. Then we'd share a knowing smirk and move on to other more relatable subjects......like beer. But it ain't Oregon, and they have reasons for feeling like they do whether we understand them or not. We just come from two very, very different places. But I strongly recommend Wyoming as a wonderful place to spend some quality time.....

Tell that to kids outside the norm being called weird In class that have disabilities.

Those kids get called much worse things than that. Those are things we should be concerned about, not being called "weird".

Oh I don't believe any of that. We need to defeat Donald Trump so that we still have a democracy to fix. Simple as that. He worships the power that Xi, Putin, and Un have and wants that for himself.

Keeping that that from winning is priority #1. Then we have a lot of work to do.

The republicans have a blueprint for a "bloodless" coup. One that literally none of us regular citizens, would be able to create and publish, without the C.I.A./F.B.I. being all over it. Yet republicans can talk about it, out in the open, as if it is a normal "water cooler" conversation. The authors of this coup, should all be in jail. Or at the very least, questioned extensively to make sure they have no way of ever carrying out their plan. It is insane to me that they aren't.

This blueprint isn't going away after Trump. It will get passed to his successor. If Trump's backers are so bold as to try this now in 2024. They won't stop until they win.

I watched Trump for four years. With what I see of our republican friends supreme court, as well as their governors passing bills making their states mini dictatorships. I see what is on the line.

But, after witnessing our oligarchy literally end Biden's presidential run. Then the very next day, our oligarchy and media coronate Kamala Harris as Joe's successor. I see who is pulling our two-party systems strings.

When our oligarchy has that much power over our American political system. Who is Kamala Harris saving our democracy from? (If anyone responds to this part, please explain without bringing up the elephant in the room, Trump. Or I won't even bother replying to it.)

As I see it, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are both part of the exact same disease plaguing America.

How about not calling them anything that can be construed derogatory?

Trump's brand is insults and name calling. He tells his cult they are the in crowd and can do whatever they want to those who are not - gays, Jews, Muslims, immigrants, anyone unlike them.

So yeah, the weird meme is a bit of comeuppance. Shout out that Trump is not a divinely ordained hero, not a godlike figure to worship, his platform is terrible and he himself is rather ridiculous. Being laughed at is the thing he cannot stand. It is totally getting under his thin skin and he is reacting by being more and more unhinged.

Although Road Ratt says he and Harris are alike most of us can see the difference.

I don't disagree with any of that. But I feel like we have a better chance of forcing positive change with Harris in office then with Trump in office.

Will we choose to do it? I have serious doubts. But I'm voting for the path that leaves open the best opportunity for the best future for my kids.

Ive had the same experience in Montana, Idaho, Utah & CO - I covered 13 western states and any island with a US zip code & Western Canada. Great people in all those places but sure, there are bad apples in all paces. They can still have a since of community regardless of politics religion I think its comes with how they view respect.
Im an outdoor nut enjoy fishing and used top enjoy hunting but stop that some years ago.

I hunted elk with my Dad in the 60s once a year in Wyoming and it was beautiful...I was just a kid so didn't know much about anything except it was some time with my dad

‘She Became a Black Person!’ Trump Spars With Moderator Over Whether Or Not Republicans Should Call Harris a ‘DEI Hire’

Donald Trump
sparred with ABC News reporter Rachel Scott over whether Vice President Kamala Harris was a “DEI hire” during a Black journalists conference.

The former president spoke at the National Association of Black Journalists annual convention in Chicago where he questioned if Harris was Black, adding “someone should look into that.” Trump said he was not aware Harris was Black until a few years ago because she only promoted her Indian heritage, but then claimed she “happened to turn black.”

Trump also went after Scott for her “very hostile, nasty tone” at the start of the panel discussion, which also included Semafor political reporter Kadia Goba and Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner.

SCOTT: Some of your own supporters, including Republicans on Capitol Hill, have labeled Vice President Kamala Harris, who was the first black and Asian American woman to serve as vice president on a major party ticket as a DEI hire. Is that acceptable language to you? And will you tell those Republicans and those supporters to stop it?

TRUMP: How do you how do you define DEI? Go ahead.

SCOTT: Diversity, equity, inclusion.

TRUMP: Okay. Yeah. Go ahead. Is that what your definition is?

SCOTT: That is…

TRUMP: Give me a definition. Would you give me a definition? Give me a definition.

SCOTT: Sir I’m asking you a question.

TRUMP: You have to define it. Define it for me.

SCOTT: I just defined it, sir. Do you believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is only on the ticket because she is a black woman?

TRUMP: Well, I can say I think it’s maybe a little bit different. So, I’ve known her for a long time. Indirectly. Not directly, very much. And she was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn black. And now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?

SCOTT: She has always identified as a Black woman —

TRUMP: I respect either one, but she obviously doesn’t because she was Indian all the way. And then all of a sudden she made a turn and she became a Black person.

SCOTT: Just to be clear, sir —

TRUMP: I think somebody should look into that too. When you continue in a very hostile, nasty tone.
