During games, I wonder if KP will sit next to Paul & Co. at any time during the remainder of the season.....or playoffs? If not, that would not bode well for KP, IMO.

People, it is time to relax. There has not been one piece of evidence as to a fallout with Pritch. Its NCAA tourney time. Pritch is literally out doing his JOB and SCOUTING. He has been off every year doing this. If he hadn't been, the Blazers would not be where they are right now. Time for Blazer fans to chill the fuck out.

You may be right. However, he looked virtually crestfallen during that media charade week. I have no other reason to believe why other than there's some type of trouble within.

He'll sit next to PA so he can look in the seat cushions for lost money every time PA stands up to cheer.

Honestly, I watched the presser and did not see this. I saw a man field questions the way he always does. The only thing I saw was an opportune picture that made him appear to be depressed. I did not see that face during the interview at all though.

I honestly saw it the same way. I might have seen a guy who didn't want to be talking about shit like this during the NCAA tournament and with the playoffs looming, and who just saw his longtime colleague/friend get axed, but I didn't see a guy looking utterly depressed and ready to clean out his locker.

Can someone tell me what happened here? Does anyone know? How did Pritchard go from being the golden boy who revived the franchise to goat in one week? I just don't get it at all.

Have you ever been with a goat? They're kind of sexy/sensual creatures.

My guess: Exhaustion. He's been all over the place scouting the tourney, and I'm sure he and his team have been burning the midnight oil for days on end. Remember, the team's a little short-handed right now, lol..

No one gets it. That's what makes it so vexing. Sure he might have an ego and be a bit of a primma donna, but that's part and parcel of being a GM.

He could have been depressed because his friend had been fired and he had to talk about it. He could have been tired because he had just returned from one of those tough scouting trips, eating stadium food, where you don't know what's in your hot dog.

You keep asking that. You should keep up while you're on trips. Since you don't have time to read all the threads from the past week, you'll have to read between the lines. Post #10 gives you a clue.

Maybe it is a power play - GM and Penn get too big for their britches, GM wants new contract, maybe Penn says something stupid, and owner decides to show everyone who is boss still. Penn is unceremoniously ousted.

It puts KP in his place and resets the negotiation in P.A.'s favor.

Thoughts?

Okay, everyone, sure he figured it out in no time flat, but I had him going for the goat theory for a few seconds, I'm sure of it.
