I have noticed the last few games that Greg has done a good job at staying out of foul trouble in the first half, I have noticed he seems to be paying extra attention to not committ fouls. Kind of like playing like you have 5 already. Because of this, he doesn't go after some shots or show as much on some screens. But I think he is starting to learn, that sometimes just him being nearby will cause a guy to miss a shot because of his presence.
The thing is, if he does this long enough, maybe the foul prone rep will go away and he can slowly ratchet it up to where he can just play again.

It seemed like they let him just play last night, ignoring a lot of small contact that would be an automatic foul on Oden most games. Any change appeared to be more on the ref's part than anything Oden was doing differently... I'm hoping that it's been sort of a coaching ploy on the part of the refs ... make him work all season to earn their respect, then starting letting him play when it comes time for playoff (i.e. physical) basketball.
