The Verdict

PlayStation 3 isn’t only well-known for its number of exclusive games, but for the sheer number of quality exclusives. That’s what makes The Last of Us even more impressive, because not only does it join the ranks of Uncharted, Killzone, God of War, Infamous and more, but it bests them all. In short, Naughty Dog has crafted a game that impresses in virtually every way. The Last of Us is a true feat.

Its unrivaled presentation in particular sets the bar even higher than the Uncharted trilogy already did, and its writing, voice acting and layered gameplay combine to create what is very easily the game to beat for Game of the Year 2013.

Did anyone play this game? I just finished it. The game is like a damn movie kinda like Uncharted was. Naughty Dog makes the best games!

I called in sick and played it all the way through Monday. Fantastic game. I really didn't like the most recent Uncharted, but this game is brilliant.

I concur, pretty damn good game. Prologue of this game is better than most movies nowadays.

It's a really great game, might be the best ps3 exclusive i've played.

I realize this is just the first game of The Last Of Us. I still say the Uncharted series is the best 3-game set I have played and Uncharted 2 was the best out of the 3. We shall see what Naughty Dog does for the next two games.
