Newsflash:
Violent crime happens when violent people are in closer proximity to each other. Hence the reason why it doesn't happen as much in rural areas.
Fify.
I lived for a year (1977) in LA in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood in Hollywood. Violent crime occurred daily and nightly, even hourly, seemingly all around us, and yet we never committed violent crimes ourselves, nor did any of the 120 other students at my school, nor did any of the professional musicians teaching at the school.
Violent criminals avoid rural areas due to lack of victim mentality and strictness of the courts. If they don't get shot by their "victim" they'll likely die in jail.
In Urban centers people are willing victims often even to the point of not reporting, and the liberal courts will slap their wrist at most and release them to reoffend. Now that they've added Sanctuary for all illegal immigrants including the violently insane and convicted gang members and terrorists...and designated all large gatherings as Free Target Areas (Gun Free Zones).
Some of you will probably not live to my age, simply because of where you live. You will die a horribly sudden death at the hands of some lazy loser who just happens to cross your path that day and acts out. Or it may be your child. No sense can be made of it. Bad people are out there. They are as deadly as Ebola or AIDS, and the same steps are required to avoid death at their hands. They need to be avoided, at all times if possible.
The cities, and the flawed lives they represent are decaying and dying. They cannot be saved in the long run as they are designed to fail.
Small, self-sufficient rural communities are the future of America.
