Dude, the Madden jynx is REAL!2001- Eddie George, went down with a knee injury, career was basically over.2002- Daunte Culpepper, 78.84 QB rating, 20 INT's2003- Marshall Faulk, Ankle Injury, never the same great RB he used to be.2004- Michael Vick, broken leg, Falcons went 4-12 that year.2005- Ray Lewis, only 3 sacks, didn't make the pro-bowl after 4-straight appearances.2006- Donovan McNabb, TO controversy, sports hernia and broken wrist, eagles were 7-9.

I'll still believe in the curse if someone on the cover has a GOOD year. There's just too many bad things gone wrong for it NOT to be real.

It depends on what THEME next year's game is gonna have. 06 was all about the precision passing (McNabb), 05 was all about the defense (Ray Lewis) , so whatever the theme is will provide us with the position of the cover athlete.
