...led by Kellanne Conway's hubby, no less. Kudos to them for somehow being able to stay married.

A group of conservatives known for their criticism of President Trump, led by lawyer George Conway, is launching a super PAC aimed at stopping Trump from winning reelection.

The Lincoln Project is made up of some of Trump’s staunchest conservative critics and represents the first formal operation for the so-called "Never Trump" movement, according to The Associated Press.

Organizers have reportedly garnered more than $1 million in fundraising commitments, with the hopes of raising much more to spend on anti-Trump advertising in the build-up to the 2020 election.

The group announced the launch of the super PAC in a New York Times op-ed published Tuesday, authored by Conway former John McCain adviser Steve Schmidt, former Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) adviser John Weaver and Republican operative Rick Wilson. Former New Hampshire GOP chair Jennifer Horn is also a principal founder of the group, according to the AP.

“This effort transcends partisanship and is dedicated to nothing less than preservation of the principles that so many have fought for, on battlefields far from home and within their own communities,” read the op-ed in the Times.

The authors wrote that their effort over the next 11 months will be to defeat Trump “and Trumpism at the ballot box and to elect those patriots who will hold the line.”

“We do not undertake this task lightly, nor from ideological preference. We have been, and remain, broadly conservative (or classically liberal) in our politics and outlooks,” they wrote. “Our many policy differences with national Democrats remain, but our shared fidelity to the Constitution dictates a common effort.” (CONTINUED....)

I like that they are calling it, The Lincoln Project.

So, some same people are getting together to a good thing? Perspective matters. Haha

I don't understand the issue here. People are getting together to raise money to pay for Ads against Trump, just as there are people getting together to pay for pro Trump ads.

Uhmm, guys like John Kasich definitely caught my eye. I would've voted for Kasich in 2016 and would vote for him in 2020.

Who said there was an issue? It's certainly noteworthy though.

Same people who’ve been crying about “free and fair elections”.

So fucking stupid. They’re too incompetent to run a decent candidate so they resort to this. I guess they see us overthrow other governments and decided why not try it at home.

Better hope none of them have a Russian-sounding name lol. It might be considered meddling and collusion.

Yeah, this really isn't "overthrowing a government". This is the elective process.

Don't you dare speak ill of MIEN FUHRER!

Anyone who truly thinks the last election was completely fair and free is kidding themselves.

Damn! They will probably demand money from me.

That is deep shit. Sadly, this government was overthrown in 1963.

Here's where my four years of high school German and one college term of upper division German pay off. It's 'Mein' not 'Mien'.
Okay, now I wait another five years to show off some elementary German spelling.

The FBI and the CIA ain't gonna fall for that.
