TrueHoop reader Richard e-mails about FreeDarko's Marcophenomenal Almanac.

"I have just recently picked up the book, "The Macrophenomawhatsit Almanac" and aside from being stunned at how fun the book is to browse through and getting caught up in all the diagrams, I felt something was missing ... I know you're a Blazer fan, and so am I, and we both know the book lacked a certain number 7."

No Brandon Roy in the book. Never really seemed like such an omission to me -- many good players did not get that artistic workup.

But Richard is, apparently, a problem solver, and an artist. He has worked up his own panel of Roy-themed artwork that surely would fit right into that book.

Wolf in sheep's clothing off the court...:dunno:

Uh, I don't get it?

Clearly, it shows that Roy is purity personified off the court (as evidenced by the purity of his pre-game wool), but once game time comes around, he morphs into an aggressive, carnivorous, bad-ass wolf. The man who can not only possess, but also harness and control these two aspects of his personality while keeping them completely separate from one another is truly a rare man indeed.

Or I could just be talking out of my ass.

Maybe it is because Brandon was selected in the draft by the Wolves and then shipped to the Blazers to Randy Foye and cash. ;)
