First, I am exhausted. Another draining game of a draining series.

Last night LA set the table and Dame provided desert. A series walk-off '3' is as good as it gets.

While I thought last night's game was easily the best officiated if the series, Harden still got in a couple of flop calls. The NBA has got to really do something about flops. Overall, it was the worst officiated series I have ever seen. A true embarrassment to the league.

Also, Portland has never had a team with so much heart and so little quit. What a group.

Lastly, props to Stotts. This is his team and his defensive schemes and plays out of huddles was genius.

I think it was officiated the same as any other, but some of our fans put more emphasis on spreading the victims mindset that we are Blazers fans and therefore will get screwed. Guess what we didn't.

I don't know man. I thought that call that gave Houston the ball which ultimately led to them getting the lead with .9 seconds left was one of the worst calls of the series. Who the fuck makes that call in game six with the game on the line?

My first thought this morning was to check espn to make sure I wasn't dreaming last night.

Ill add to the Stotts props, his game planning and adjustments have been great. Down the stretch everytime Harden guarded a big he was posted up and punished for it. All I could think about was Nate letting Nash stand in corner with Batum and disappear.

it was very close. The bullshit part of that call was that it couldn't be reviewed.

I want to apologize for acting out this way. It's a defense mechanism to keep from being too hurt. I'm really going to try my best to remember who I was before 2000, and get back to being THAT fan!

Lin had held Lillard scoreless the 4th qrt. Harden shouldn't have even been on the floor for that last shot. His defense was terrible all series long. Lin should have been in for Harden and been covering Lillard instead of Parsons.

Also, after having watched the highlights about a million times, I have to say that it's pretty annoying that Robin threw the ball in under our own basket so that Parsons could score the go-ahead. I would rather they get the ball out of bounds rather than give Parsons an uncontested layup. REALLY glad we won, but seeing that after the fact was pretty annoying. It almost cost us the game.

I think the refs get into way more trouble if they let Lillard catch the ball. It wasn't the right call, but I don't blame the refs for making the call. That EVERY WHISTLE isn't reviewable in the last 60 seconds of a playoff game within 5 points is a travesty, though.

My personal opinion is that Houston gets about 8-12 points per regular season game for flops (directly or indirectly). In the playoffs, with, *cough*, better refs, it's more like 4 - 6 points.

Maybe I'm completely insane, but don't you have to have both feet down to be considered "re-established" on the court? If so, then Lillard only got one foot down before he touched the ball and the refs got it right. If it's only one foot to re-establish, then it was a bad call.

I'm pretty sure you only need to be a legal recipient of the ball. One foot in bounds is all a player needs to be legal, once you've been out of bounds.

One thought this morning.......Does Lillard become Batman and Aldridge back to Robin? A role I think Aldridge would rather have.

I think Aldridge is clearly the more valuable player and the guy they should be centering on for 80% of the game, but Lillard definitely has more killer instinct late in games.

So I don't see it as a Hero-sidekick relationship, it's more like a relay team, with Lillard as the anchor.
