Discuss anything related to NBA 2K6 here,I just had the NASTIEST statline with Jarvis Hayes. 64 points, 23-33 shooting, 14-18 from 3 point land.This was on SUPERSTAR level also.
 
lol a while back. I was playing Xbox LIve. HE was the suns I was the spurs. There is 2 min left. im down by 8. I catchup with robert horry haveing 2 straight 3s and a a lyup now 2 seconds remaining game is tied. he passes to Amare I foul on purpose to send him to the lin(he sucked at foul shots but he hit them both. now 3 seconds left. im out of timeouts. I pass it to horry and he hits a halfcourt 3 for the win I was so shocked. the guy got so pissed he was like WTF! WTF! he callse me a hcakcer and evrything I will never forget that game lol
 
I can't wait for 2k7.

But in 2k6, I played yesterday, and Al Jefferson pulled down 16 rebounds for me, and I scored liek 35-36 with Pierce. Oh, and Telfair got 11 or 12 assists.

I won (vs. Indiana) by 8.
 
I got 37, 12, and 11 with Gilbert Arenas the other day in 5 minute Q's on All-Star level...

Not much hype on 2k7 this year. They did a terrible job advertisting, Live won by far. Im expecting the same as last year, but looking forward to starting a new season mode. Shaq....agian

If you are expecting the same as last year then you will be the happiest 2k7 gamer alive.

- Everyone has their own animated jumpshot, from Marion's BS shot, Kobe, LeBron, Wade, all the way down to Eric Snow.

- PG's dribble up the court in their own style (J-Will skips, Payton throws his ass at his defenders and protects)

- Players have their own signature DRIBBLING. AI's crossover, Terry high step between the legs, Marbury behind the back a few times, etc.

- There is REAL good defense by the CPU this year

- The atmosphere is amazing. Crowd is great and has people walking around and stuff. The lighting on the court = sick. All 30 authentic arenas. Mascots. Cheerleaders. Camera men. Etc.


That;s the beginning. There are soooo many new additions, and I have seen about 10-12 videos of the game. From a distance my brother asked me if it was a downloaded game. It looks that real.

Jeez if I did 12 minute quarters my team would score like 250 points.
 
nba live 06 was disappointing for xbox in my opinionI mean playstation 2

Like xbox360 has bench players going to the scorers table and the subbed player sitting down. I don't think that's in for current gen.
 
in 2k5 I scored like 400 points by having it on rookie then stealing the ball everytime the other team got it, that was fun as hell, they ended up with like 30 or so though, I dont know how
 
in a way that would be kind of boring though,because your not getting any compeition or anything.
 
I just played 2k6. I was the Sonics and I played Portland, I was away, and I played 8 minute quarters. Ray Ray went off for me in the 4th, and he hit a 3 at the buzzer to force OT. Then, I fell apart in OT when Shard fouled out.. I lost by 6. Good game though.
