The nets and rookies doing very well in the stat leader dept...

As reported in Netsdaily today the nets have player leading in all kinds of stat areas.

For example: In Rookie Rebounding stats: Brook Lopez is the number 1 rebounder among rookies with Ryan Anderson being # 10.

In Rookie block shot leaders Brook Lopez is number 1 in block shots, with Ryan Anderson at number 16

In Three point shooters for all players Yi is at #15, Simmons is #19 and Ryan Anderson is #21

And, in scoring on the road the nets Devin Harris is number 1, while Vince Carter is at #6

I wonder why vc and harris don't do as well at home?

imo, you're extra motivated on the road....I used to play ball, and if you're playing on the road and the crowd is booing the hell outta you, it makes you want to try even more harder so you can shut the hecklers up, in laymen's terms, your competitive drive thrives more off of the negativity in the environment your balling in.

all true, but i think its something else too. This team is so young and surrounded by a great coach and team leader in Vince Carter, it has like a college atmosphere and the team is considerable closer than say a more veteran type of team. I have no proof of this, but its the impression i'm getting from reading and watching the players...

Your focus is that much more sharper, trying to play through a crowd.
