Notice The New Face of Baseball....

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

And another one!!!

Wasn't there a guy that, IIRC, was playing for detroit that just destroyed the ball for about 4 months, then after the ASG, just went downhill...

He's doing great, but baseball is literally about making adjustments, and then others adjusting to your adjustments. He hasn't quite gotten to that point.

Being such a long season almost every player will have more than one slump throughout....but pitchers probably have more pressure than any position on the field. Anybody notice how badly umps are calling the strike zone this season? It's getting ridiculous....and seems they're making bats out of balsa wood...break a couple almost game to game.

495 foot home run.... What Judge is doing isn't normal. He's like if LeBron picked up a bat and decided to become the chosen one in baseball. A human cheat code! Currently Triple Crown Leader AS A ROOKIE!

As a young child I was introduced to the Yankees, Packers, and Blazers because of my grandpa and dad. Watching sports is a religion for them.

My grandpa used to put me to sleep with stories of the great Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Joe DiMaggio while my father would tell me about Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, and Whitey Ford.

The Yanks are going young and rebuilding a great foundation of youth with guys like Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez, Clint Frazier, and Gleyber Torres. The future is bright for them!

As a kid, my father took me to Oakland A's games in his 1964 Ford Galaxy 500XL (God, I miss that car). But as an adult, I found that we got more coverage of the Giants up here in the PNW. Started following them half-way through the 2010 season, and I've been a fan ever since. I'll be a fan for life.

My mother's side of the family are all die-hard Giants fans, so it wasn't much of a step to root for them.

He's having a great season so far and so are the Yanks!

The team has been on a tear during the last 5 games at home.

Win vs Red Sox 8-0
Win vs Red Sox 9-1
Win vs Orioles 8-2
Win vs Orioles 16-3
Win vs Orioles 14-3

Judge just hit one one that almost went out of Safeco Field. Holy smokes!

that was a bomb. why arent you in seattle for the games?

Parents are on vacation and I have to look after their pets. Promised to do it months ago.
Ouch. Have you been to a Yankee game in safeco? Like Boston, there's more Yankee fans than Mariners lol. I am a mariner fan but haven't been to game in a handful of years

I will give the guy props. I expect to see a lot of intentional walks in his future.

There isn't a fight I wouldn't get into if I had Judge and Nurkic backing me up.

The Mariners don't get a lot of love on this forum but they are my team since I was born. I was "gifted" them. I'm also quite sure I came out the womb hating the Yankees. King Felix will sit him down in the wild card playoff game. Neither NY or SEA are going to overtake the division leaders, so I really hope it comes down to that.

Also, this was a fun listen. #YankeesSuck

One of only 5 players to have an 8 WAR season in his rookie campaign. Judge may not be face of baseball yet but he's not far off.

As long as Mike Trout and Bryce Harper are ambulatory, he's playing for 3rd. And I hate both the Angels and the Yankees.

(BTW, I know Judge is a rookie, but he's almost a year older than Harper and less than a year younger than Trout)

...they are going to call it the "Upper-Cut Era" in baseball, swing for the fences and launch those moon balls. Chicks still dig the long ball, right?! :dunno:

Trout you got a point. He's the Alpha for sure. But Harper can't stay healthy long enough to fulfill his enormous potential.

I thought this was going to be a thread about pat connaughton
