Is there a surgery to target that?I for one don't want the black part of my daughter to be friends with the white part of her! Dirty crackas.
He doesn’t lump all whites together however he certainly doesn’t provide an adequate number of classifications. He seems to have 1) the overtly racist like those in Charlotte, 2) other whites who support Trump who he thinks at least turn a blind eye, 3) other whites who don’t actively stand for him but you could have a beer with or watch a game and 4) those who do go out and actively support civil rights issues like protesting Trumps Muslim ban who he says can be true friends. This article saddens and and angers me. It assumes all white people are racists who look down on people of color. It assumes the relationship between white and black people can only defined by the politics of race and economics. I could care less about the color of skin.
I will teach my son about our history without whitewashing it. I will teach him about the inequalties in our country. I will teach him about right and wrong. I will teach him love. And, I will teach him that he can be friends with children of any and every color.

I wholeheartedly agree there are far more people on the side of Civil Rights than he gives credit but he does do some differentiation.
That's really pathetic. I don't know what's worse, that a small portion of the population feels that way about the color of a psychopath's skin or that a large portion believes that all white people think like that.
Not close to all white people, but I do think a majority of Trump supporters think that way. And that’s a lot of folks. That's really pathetic. Well I don’t have a way to know for certain, but I do believe a large percent of Trump supporters are racist.Projecting
Of course a decent percent are. How much is a large number and even if they are racist what kind of stupid logic does it involve to be unable to see that importing more violent idiots is a bad idea?Well I don’t have a way to know for certain, but I do believe a large percent of Trump supporters are racist.
The sad part about this article is that it’s a huge generalization of white people and it’s also alarming how popular it has become to shit on white people. It’s hypocrisy at its finest. Complaining about racism by being racist. Another point of me posting this is the fact it’s the New York Times putting this shit out. We live in a time where the media really is untrustworthy and it’s clear what their agendas are and what ideology they align withWell I don’t have a way to know for certain, but I do believe a large percent of Trump supporters are racist.

Opinion: Can My Children Be Friends With White People?
Right but come on. This opinion is a bit extreme and there are no valid points at all. It’s a shame New York Times even associates with it. It’s a racist opinion. Plain and simple. Ignorant one as wellWhat do you suppose that first word beginning with O means, in what you linked? It's a mystery, isn't it?
barfo
Fair. I see opinions like it all the time. They can exist but it’s a low for the New York Times.Though I have nothing but contempt for the extremely bigoted and racist opine of Ekow N. Yankah, I will defend his right to do so until my last breath.
It's sad when racists like this guy exploit their own children and make shit up just to further their own despicable causes.
His kids probably deserve better.
What? It’s not about that. The same way you point out racism time to time, sometimes warranted others not, I’m just doing the same. This person who did this piece is obviously fairly ignorant and just plain absurd.Regardless of what the story says, none of you have to be friends with us, and you can lead your happy lives without ever worrying about racism affecting any of you.
