No. Losing Chief didn't get the Blazers under the salary cap, so it didn't free up money for Hood or Kanter.

We've gotten rid of Chief's money...doesn't Rodney just take that check and leave the tax exception? Every player we don't bring back or trade lowers the overhead doesn't it? yeah....I'm not a CBA stat guy but clue me in...how do we Pay Hood 8 mill a year just after Chief signs elsewhere and not consider it sort of like ET for Bazemore....?

Yes but we need someone to rebound the ball till Nurk is back, Ed can do that. Right now ML/ Zach/Skal/Hark are our big guys to start the season. That’s not good.
