I have and I slayed. That said Im serious. Your prediction, barring a huge trade, is utterly laughable.

Truth be told we probably are both half-wrong 5th place and 48 is probably about right. Im quite pessimistic at the moment.

And just one thing. You might just be underestimating Damian Lillard. In playoffs, there are lot of close games. Is there stats, that shows his downgread? If not, could we add his skills development to Blazers dev?

That’s fair. I feel without a major trade the West is better than it was last year and Billups will have growing pains. I’m a bit pessimistic and think we will probably be closer to matching last year, but fall just a bit short. We shall see.

The West is better without Murray and Kawhi? Many teams didn't improve either (MEM, NOP, DAL, LAC, UTA, DEN, SAS, OKC).

41-41 a .500 team at best.

They might stumble into the playin and with some Lillard luck get into the first round.
9th seed

Lillard will have to get 28 a game.
If he doesn't they are a Lotto team.

Nance obviously will not play more than 50 games at this rate. So lets go with 50.

Here is my additional prediction. Lillard will be traded next Summer (If not by the trade deadline). It's a very bad time to be a Blazer fan.
Doom and Gloom I know. Lets hope I'm wrong but you all know I'm most likely right.

we are all fans. Some glass half empty, some glass half full.
But we can all be rest assured that all of us here want to see the Blazers succeed.
How to succeed is often the point of conflict on this board and nba history has proven both to be right and wrong.

We can blow it up and nail the draft and be Contenders in five years.
Or we can blow it up and not sniff the playoffs for a decade.

Health.
Draft class quality of the next five years. coaching style vs player skill sets.

No way to predict which is right or wrong. And the success stories often have asterisk with them one way or another.
