Having an inferiority complex, which admittedly I and a LOT of other Blazer fans do, is a healthy thing, in my opinion. It keeps us from swallowing the party line that big-market "superstars" are the only worthy, marketable thing about the NBA, and that everything should be done to coddle and nurture their success. If Sacramento had beaten the Lakers in 2002, and won the championship, do you think the league and it's marketing arm would have been happy about that? That the best team won, and that that in itself should be celebrated? FUCK NO! They would have pissed and moaned about lower TV ratings and lost "market share".

And those of you that are about to scream "SAN ANTONIO!"... are you just flat out ignorant to the fact that it's the 7th biggest city in the United States?

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean that they really aren't out to get you.

Have you ever been to San Antonio? That city is small. Downtown is like 10 square blocks. It's TV market may be big though, cause there is nothing else around it out there in the desert. Feels like Eugene with taller buildings and no hippys!

I know Rose is better than that, but the Bulls won't win a game if he pulls that stuff for the rest of the series.

Watch the regular season. I don't know a team with less scoring options than Chicago. Seriously, take out Rose and the offense will be scoring 75 points per game during the regular season.

Anyone know where the S2 site is? I accidentally got into your gay site here. Good luck with your site, guys, and there's nothing wrong with it.

This is a thread where you can express your frustration and disgust at the fawning and general cocksucking of the "superstars" in games.

Right now, the ABC announcers are practically fingering LeBron's butthole while they all take turns blowing him on the scorer's table. I'm not saying that NBC or CBS or TNT was any better, or that this hasn't happened since television coverage of the NBA begin, but Jesus, people, have a BIT of unbiasedness.

Memo to Broadcasters:

Do not mention superstars in your broadcasts.
Despite the fact that 99% of the people would rather hear about the League's top players, some fool in Portland may be offended.
Thank you for your compliance.

(Insert name of fictional network executive who gives a shit about chris_in_pdx)

Sweet, awesome Portland band Starfucker is making an appearance on ABC/ESPN!? I love Starfucker!
they even rock a Blazers jersey in their video

Inferiority Complex meter reading for tonight's game: 7 out of 10. TNT announcers were fawning all over Nash and Amare all night, and seemed a little out of sorts giving the Blazers credit for controlling the game and winning.
