Both Drummond and Davis look like excellent front court prospects. It's too bad, and I said this after 2012 draft, that there wasn't a bit more creativity in that draft to take that 11th pick and another asset or two to move up high enough to take Drummond.

What were the assets to move up in the draft and get Drummond? FWIW, his on/off stats are terrible this year. Even though he puts up great numbers, his terrible team is better with him off of the court.

I wanted to move up and draft Drummond as well but from what I remember GSW had no interest in trading back if Barnes fell, the report was that Toronto panicked after the soup juggler was taken and Detroit had no interest in trading once Drummond fell to them.
