I've posted this before. Since the 80s I've said the Slam Dunk contest always leaves me dissatisfied with the scoring. For a couple of years the League agreed and got rid of it, but brought it back.

Against everyone else I always preferred the 3-Point because it is scored objectively.

So how did Wall get enough votes when he went last? I don't believe that.

Welp, Dame got shafted in the three point contest and the dunk contest.

Wow... 1 individual dunk each and that's it?

This bullshit is worse than those never ending misses from years past. Damn

I haven't enjoyed a dunk contest since vince carter, lillard gave me a reason to tune in this year but the NBA reminded me why I usually just catch highlights when I'm bored.

Well......Lillard had best dunk of the night. Hope they dump this format. All-Star weekend been getting worse every year and I understand the need to change something up but please at least judge on the dunk and not that he had Drake with him.

As far as the format, excitement, and execution is concerned, this was the worst Dunk contest I've seen in a long time...maybe ever. Just embarrassing lol

The new West vs. East scoring system ruined the unruinable 3-Point contest, and continued the 30-year ruination of Slam Dunk.

I'm hoping that the All Star Game doesn't turn into a game where Damian and LaMarcus are barely played.

But than again, neither one of them is really into show-boating play, which is 95% of what the all star game is about.

So, maybe I don't care.

Slam Dunk is a real competition like pro wrestling is. It's always been like this. I hate it. I skipped it many years, and skipped big portions of it tonight out of boredom.

Well shit, if you only need to bring a celebrity out, Dame should have banged Katy Perry under the hoop and then after he finished, do a quick one handed jam.

Best dunk of the night was Paul George

Wall gets the most credit for doing it the 1st time and deservedly so

But the format was so stupid... there was no chance to respond. One dunk and you're out? That's fucking retarded.

Figured something like this would happen and piss us all off, but gotta say Dame showed out pretty well in all the events. Serious props

That was bs, Lillard won that face off vs Ross. We see the in between dunk from guys like Ross all the time and he even took 3 attempts to finish it.

Lillards fatigue wasn't anymore apparent than it was tonight. If he wasn't, he would have won every event.

With that said, aside from the HOP, the John Wall dunk wasn't all that impressiv

And, I think he is the oldest of the three but Dr. J looked the best of the three judges. Dude is aging well.

Whoever came up with that lame East/West coast format should be summarily quartered at center court, with their head put on a pike in the men's bathroom. Just a travesty. An affront to God. Did all-star weekend lose a bet? There are simply no words to describe my feelings about Nick Cannon. Suffice to say, he sucks hairy dick and balls.

On a side note, whoever invented the DVR should be knighted. It enabled me to sprint thru this insult in under an hour. I owe them my life, for if I had watched this production live I would surely have killed myself.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they didn't play a single minute
