Wait, did Obama just call himself a 'good high school player?'

Haha!

Oh, and here comes the racial stuff.

Chuck actually asked a good question about ObamaCare.

Obama said "5 years down the road" people will like plan. 5 years????

Here comes the sales pitch for ObamaCare...

OK, that interview was fine. Barkley asked harder questions than most of the mainstream media.

Is anyone shocked that PapaG is the only one who commented on the Obama interview?

The whole idea of this town and community getting an all star game ahead of Portland is a true sign that life is really unfair. I wonder when the league is going to start working for a town and community who has always had their heart and soul, not only to the team but league.

It's about time someone recognizes this.

After yearly increases, Group Health cut my health insurance about 3 months ago from $754 to $698. They said it was because of Obamacare.

Good program. No decrease in my coverage.

Barkley would never be able to rip up Portland like he rips up New Orleans or other All-Star cities.

Heart and soul can't put cronies and flunkies up in luxury hotel rooms.

the NBA doesn't give a shit about that. Sure, they do the "NBA cares" thing, but do they actually reward that kind of stuff?

haha.

Nobody wants 2" of rain over All-Star Weekend. Imagine the whining had the game been here this weekend. Other than the actual game, this entire weekend of events has mostly sucked. Last night was a dud of epic proportions.

True, and as we know, there's nothing for a young black man to do in Portland.

It could be worse, they granted an all star game to a town that closes shop at 5.

Are we saying Salt Lake is way ahead of Portland?

This...

I know it is. There is nothing ok about them freezing out some of their best and loyal subscribers.

Are you fucking kidding me? I just turned on the TV to see if the ASG was on, the guide says it is, so I go to TNT. What do I see? Some clown 'singing' and the sound of a bunch of teeny bopper girls screaming like the Beatles are in town.

What. The. Fuck.

Is there an all star game today?

Did I miss it?

That was 21 years ago. A lot has changed in that time. Had Portland had the RG/Moda build by the 1990, I'd hope that Portland would have got the game over SLC. The SLC experience turned off the NBA to having the game in smaller cities out west. Denver was a bit of an anomaly, since it's a 4-sport city with tons of space downtown.

We should never expect good music/entertainment from an NBA event.

I get that. The NBA in my opinion has something or a community to recoginize.

Seriously, the guide on my TV still says "all star game". Some clown is still singing. Did I miss the game or what?

There is nothing conditional about the Portland Trail Blazer love and the love for the NBA.

And hasn't been since it's existance.
