Was a little presumptuous starting the Around the NBA “Playoff” thread before the Blazers are actually in the playoffs don’t you think?

The thread isn’t about the Blazers. It said Around the NBA. I’m bummed about Westbrook. I was looking forward to Chris Paul kicking his ass.

Anyone wanna talk first round? All the series are set except Lakers vs ??.
Bucks vs Magic- Magic surprised Toronto with a Game 1 win last year on a DJ Augustin three point shot. I always root for underdogs so I'll definitely root for Orlando.
Pacers vs Heat- They played each other Monday and have to play each other again tomorrow and then go into a whole series. They're gonna hate each other by the end of this. Butler already hates TJ Warren. I don't care who wins this series. I'd just like to see a fight.
Raptors vs Nets- The Raptors have lost 10 of their last 11 first round Game 1s. I'll be rooting for them to keep that tradition alive. Brooklyn has some fire in them. I'll be hoping this is a competitive series for sure.
Celtics vs Sixers- Is Embiid playing? Embiid vs Kanter could be fun if they ever match up with each other. Al Horford vs his old team. I feel bad for Sixers fans. This would've been a lot more fun if Simmons was playing. I expect Boston to win this series easily and I'm fine with that. Sorry Sixers fans.
Clippers vs Mavericks- Of course we're all rooting for the Mavericks, right? Doncic is a likeable superstar and Porzingis is pretty awesome. Since we hate PG and Beverly, it would be great to see both go out in the first round yet again. Especially, if the Blazers reach round 2. I'm sure Raptors fans will be rooting for Mavs too and that's cool.
Nuggets vs Jazz- I'm not sure what to think about this series. I definitely think the Jazz are better when Gobert can go up against a real center and the Nuggets definitely have one of those. It's a lot harder for Gobert to be effective against a team like the Rockets, for example. I don't really care who wins this series. I guess I'll root Jazz since they're the underdog. Plus, Conley is a likable player. Wouldn't mind seeing him do well.
Rockets vs Thunder- I hope the Thunder sweep the Rockets and I think it's possible. I'm bummed Westbrook isn't playing because I want to see him match up with CP3. I'm definitely rooting for the Thunder. Will be interesting to see if Adams can be effective against a center-less Rockets team.
