The Kobe wac-a-mole on Dame was a particularly egregious no-call.

This game was a prime example of why we need to consontrate on getting a high profile player via FA or draft

I know it goes against all things right, but I think that was a 2 pointer.

And even if they called the foul on Kobe for hitting Damians head, it would've been at best 2 FTs.

yes, I understand the whole principal of things, but still

Add two Damian free throws, and subtract that bogus basket where dude caught his own airball, and you have a potential tie game. So many bad calls...

Now, I admit that it would have taken getting a break to beat the Lakers at home, but there's phantom calls on Matthews, Leonard, and LA to deal with, two times when Lillard was fouled shooting a three (including the last shot)... we get half of that bullshit going our way, and we win that game.

Like i said, I agree with the principal (or do I mean principle? never been good with that homonym). I just think that the two videos linked here weren't clear cut cases of cost the game.

ADD the collection together, yes.

would it be nice if the league didn't have an obvious bias towards certain players/franchises/homecourts?

Yes.

Has Portland benefited from some bad reffing? Sure. Is it to the degree that other teams/franchises/players have? God no.

Barring ESPN or TNT calling out the league for it (and we all know that won't happen), nothing will ever change.

If it didn't change after the Kings got jobbed in the Conference finals years ago, nothing will change it.

Principal is who you saw in school if you were bad (among other meanings... stupid English). Principle is the word you're after. :ghoti:

I am still pissed about this game. That was the biggest screw job I've seen in many years!

I'll be recapping all the drama during the pregame show tonight...... Stay tuned.

So as I recall the league made a big deal out of a charging foul Price drew a while back that was, even after review, debateable either way. Is the league going to admit and make a public proclamation regarding the half dozen obviously biased bad calls against the Blazers that cost them this game? I'll wait. (Not.)
