Not if you're getting blown out by the top scoring team in the NBA by the 4th quarter. We are fortunate to only be down a couple points after that meltdown.
 
You would think that when the other team is going on a run like that, it would be ok to temporarily change your little rules.

It's a lot easier to win in the 4th when you have a lead opposed to coming back in the second because your coach wont make any adjustments while losing a double digit lead.
 
I seriously can't fathom why we ran with Howard and Pryzbilla for THAT long.
 
This isn't exactly unexpected, we play like shit in Oakland every year ... it's uncanny.
 
Did Bayless fuck Nate's wife or something? I mean seriously, he would be great in this game.
 
Soooooo .... I'm just going to throw this out there. Doesn't this seem like a game where Dante should play over Howard and Jerryd plays over Blake?
 
The best part is that if we win, the koolaid drinkers will be out in force questioning peoples fandom, and making sure we all know it's ok because we won
 
Down 4 to the Warriors is not exactly an insurmountable deficit. We were still getting good shots, just couldn't get anything to drop. Let's kill 'em in the post here in the third and avoid the stupid foulds with our big men.

Uh, MM, I'll have you know that we had the most efficient offense in the league last year. ISOs are the future, points in the paint are the past and are insignificant these days. Did you watch the freaking second quarter? We didn't get any good shots because our bigs do nothing on offense. Plus Howard can't hold onto the basketball.
 
Bayless has to be hurt right? He just played a couple mins since he hurt his ankle after warmups so that has to be it.

We got excellent shots in the first quarter, the second was basically rat-ball ... the number of contested, end of clock jumpers we took can only be classified as terrible shots, especially against a Warriors team that feasts on missed jumpshots.

Jerryd is currently suffering from carpal tunnel after starting his blog and tweeting more on the twitter. MRI is scheduled for tomorrow to see if there is any structural damage from this activity, and his return to basketball duties it TBD.

Who is this "they" you are talking about? The Warriors are playing exactly the way they want to play and the Blazers are foolishly falling into their style.

Nate didn't have a problem playing him since we went to the 3 guard lineup until he hurt his ankle so I'd think that would be the reason why.

I'm not saying it's fair, but Nate is playing with the joker cards he's being dealt by the refs.

I just think it's funny that Golden State is being allowed to throw their bodies around with no calls, simply because they only have seven guys.
