Third overtime...

no wonder this sport can't get ratings. The game has been on for almost 5 hours now.

Holy shit what a start to the series!

Daugavins, you chump, you had the game on your stick! Soon as he missed that there was no way Boston was going to get the W.

What a great game... the goaltending by Corey Crawford in the first OT was unreal... I don't know how they survived that power play.

When did they score the game winner though? During the two minutes I decided to take out the trash... fucking typical...

Where'd the game wind up in the all-time ranks in terms of length? Last I heard them say, it was up to the 6th longest Stanley Cup game.

^ Last I heard they were saying 5th. If it had gone to a 4th OT it would've been the longest. All the others ended in the 3rd.

Yeah, I just read that it wound up being the 5th longest Stanley Cup game of all-time.

I started watching it in the third, because honestly, I didn't realize it was on until I accidentally flipped to it. It's hard to turn the channel once you get on a Stanley Cup game though... it's so much more entertaining than most sports playoffs. It's such a fast-paced, rough, physical game that it should really be more popular in the States. Even with no goals through 2 OT's, the suspense is ridiculous. I'll fall asleep through a soccer game, but damn, those first two OT's had such excellent goaltending that it was hard to look away... every minute or so, there'd be a shot or a chance to score, where you were thinking "it's over!" and then Crawford makes an insane save....

Yeah, last night's game was pretty epic. For a while I didn't think it would ever end. Like speeds said, Boston lost the game when the Daug man couldn't pull the trigger on a wide open net. Plus, losing one of our top 3 forwards when everybody was already exhausted didn't help us at all. Chicago just did a better job of getting pucks on the net. The B's were trying to get too cute with their scoring chances and never gave themselves a chance to get an ugly goal. Chicago tied it and then won it on deflections.

Company pulled the shirts after a lot of complaints. Thoughts?

If you think that's funny then you have some serious issues

so, a Blackhawks shirt, playing off of Bruins shirts.....killed him? Is being mean to him? What, exactly. Boston sports teams went and tossed their logo all over it, and at that point, IMO, it became more a shirt to wear to represent your team. Don't bastardize the original blue and yellow by tossing your own team colors on them.
