a lot (most?) thought that Adam Morrison was the right choice for Portland with the 3rd pick a few years back. I had Aldridge ranked #1 overall in that draft followed by Roy. Sometimes I'm wrong too, but how is Adam doing these days?

I have to admit I have never seen Rudy play so poorly. He can't shoot, is being abused on defense, is often out of position on defense and overall he is wasting time on the court. I hope he snaps out of it for game 6.

Besides the fact that he's getting minutes. I just cannot wrap my head around why he's playing ahead of Webster. Webster has been solid, defensively, all season. He's hitting the boards. Just hustling his butt off. He's basically the anti-Rudy.

Yeah that is all I can think of as well, but to what end? I mean he can't go back to europe, he is under contract for POR for 2 more years, so he may want to leave to go play in europe but it is not like the team will just release him from his contract....is he that delusional that he thinks they will?

Just an embarrassingly bizarre series of perfomrances by him....He won't be back next year, I don't see any way how he could be...not after this.

It still doesn't make sense. Why would you "sandbag" when you're starting playoff games?

He's got a serious problem, I just don't know what it is. (Though I suspect he is injured as his
lateral mobility has disappeared.)

That said, I'm pretty tired of it too. He made one of the worst plays I've ever seen this playoffs:

He had the ball about 15 feet from the basket while being guarded by the couple of inches shorter,
and crappy defender Steve Nash. What does he do? Goes right spins back (so that he is FARTHER
from the basket after the spin), then fades away so far he barely is able to keep his balance. The
resulting ultra-low % 22-footer bricks, of course.

Portland absolutely cannot afford to play Rudy the next playoff game. He is too much of a liability on the court.
