Salmons just about leads all SFs in assist/turnover ratio. Tonight he got 4 assists and 0 turnovers, while also piling up a lot of points. He is very underrated.

This just in....Thomas Robinson was over hyped on this board. Some were suggesting he should go #2?
As I recall he measured out pretty good, but he looks small out there. And since he has no apparent mid range shot, that could be a problem. He looks like a back up player to me.

I'm happy with the assists, but it's time to start ratcheting down the turnovers. I think Stotts is smart enough to get that point across, without making Nico overly tentative. A relaxed fluid Batum is a good Batum.

Yes there were at least 3 passes he tried that were ridiculous attempts. Maybe Magic could have made them, but not between the defender's legs to Freeland! I agree Stotts needs to show him the film, point out how absurd they were, yet keep him aggressive. This goes for the whole team, they over pass when they shouldn't and not pass quick enough when guys cut to the basket. But they were fun to watch tonight.

I am happy with that. I want him relaxed and learning, as long as he's also focused. When I went to the Suns game he spent a lot of time during free throws on the other end of the court talking to Stotts. That was good to see because he was clearly working on his game, during the game. I love the way he's been stuffing the stat sheet, especially the assists. I've never been off the Batum bandwagon and I'm happy we have a coach who will develop his skill set.
