Only Aldridge haters would say that. Throughout the league, it is known that Aldridge is much better than Bosh.

Different strengths in their games obviously. I think Bosh has a better first step than LA, but LA is a better defender. Bosh would be a better fit since he moves w/o the ball better than LA as well.

If Miami had Bosh and Aldridge, it's the best of both worlds. Could you imagine the floor spacing for Dragon and Wade?!? They would be so hard to stop able to play against one on one defenders

Whiteside would not be part of the package. He would be a major selling point to LMA, since Aldridge needs to play next to a defensive center (in his eyes). Us saying "give us whiteside" is basically the same thing as saying " just take the SAS deal instead".

Not sure where the 'Bosh as filler' idea came from. It was Whiteside/Winslow and filler for Aldridge. Bosh wasn't the filler. Miami does have a lot of salary on the books now with their signings this summer.

I absolutely disagree. I think the selling point would be on a legit 3 on a championship team. Whiteside is a one year in the league with positive production. He's great, but I think Aldridge would love to play next to Bosh. No way they give us Bosh for Aldridge

You guys, I completely wish this Miami thing would work too but I completely believe he goes to Spurs. Shouldn't get too excited. I have learned that myself. Thinking we could get Monroe and convince LMA to stay and play with him, didn't happen. It was always gonna be the Spurs or Blazers and the Spurs will win this one.

Maybe, but he and Bosh are long-time Dallas buddies, and they both have a lot of respect for each other.

Honestly I think it's only between two teams. Spurs and Portland. Spurs win. So I don't even know why Dame is trying if it's even true he is meeting with him today. What could he tell Lamarcus to change his mind? Lamarcus will never be happy wherever he goes. Will be jealous of Kawhi after duncan and manu leave. I read that in his whole 9 years the closest team mates of his in order were Jamal Crawford, Wes, and Alonzo Gee. THREE dudes out of 9 years. Two of them only playing here for a year.

If Aldridge is a smart man, he would go to the Leastern Conference with a legit 3 on a championship team.

Yes, Spurs would be a contender as well, but the road in the west is much harder than the East. Plus, he would have much less competition to be a starter on the allstar game

No, they give us Winslow and filler. Bosh, whiteside, wade and the dragon are not going to be included, because their inclusion would mean LMA looked elsewhere to sign. We aren't in a position of power, LMA is.

Why would they want that? So you saying to bring Bosh off the bench? Play small forward? Bench Whiteside? Lol

He could also say something like this:

It is extremely rare for teams to win championships or even be championship contenders without elite guards: Jordan Bulls, Kobe Lakers, Stockton Jazz, even Manu/Parker Spurs. The current Spurs do not have an elite guard and will not in the foreseeable future. We do: Me.

OTOH, the Heat have 2 elite guards in a weak conference, maybe you should sign with them. :)

More likely whiteside off the bench, Bosh starts at C, LMA at pf. But whenever one of Bosh or LMA are out of the game, whiteside plays center and whoever is still on the court between bosh and LMA would play pf. Bosh and LMA both play about 34mpg and whiteside 28. Plus, any injuries to one of those three could be mediated for a good stretch.

I'm not sure how this works with Miami. With the signing of Wade and Dragic, they are very near the salary cap with several roster spots left to fill. They can't just add Aldridge because they don't have the cap space but they also don't have pieces to trade back in a S&T to make it fit unless it's Deng. Might have to involve a 3rd team and get very creative.

I haven't looked into the salary matching, it might not be doable, but I just can't see them giving up whiteside. If they were willing, I'd jump on that in an instance.

I don't see a LMA+Bosh lineup for Miami, it's too soft and heavy and Riley knows it. You can kinda pull it off with Lebron because then you are very mobile (like GSW were in the finals more or less), but LMA is heavier + he HATES the banging down low and he is scared he will have to play at the 5.

I don't see Riley giving Hassan a max deal either, too risky for the gel-man...Bosh's injury and age are probably at the back of his mind too. maybe Bosh+Whiteside for LMA and Kaman.

I honestly believe this is more difficult for Lamarcus than it is for fans. I think it's a good sign that he's having trouble making the decision this early in the process. I still think the Blazers have the edge here

TOMORROW?! This is just getting cruel. Either come back or fucking euthanize us already.

Pop: Ok, kid what's it gonna be?
LMA: I don't know yet lol, nowww it's between you,the Suns,Toronto and the Hornets. Maybe i'll meet with the Lakers again, they were sooooo nice and coach Scott has the funniest stories, you know?.
Pop: Goodbye kid.
HoopsHype: SAS sign David West for the MLE.
